Multiple (((hugs))) to you,Froddy. I do hope you are getting support with your Mum now.

Nope, no support - she doesn't fit the criteria!!!!

Thanks for all the hugs and thoughts. I am nearing the end of my tether - hopefully will have result of the scan by the end of the week and maybe that will help.

Managed to sort and clean the fridge before taking Mum to another appt and then shopping (which takes forever!). Came home, washed up, did some washing then fell asleep on the sofa for an hour before heading back out to Mum's.

I just want one duvet day!

Hugs for all going through carp at the moment xxx

What sort of half baked (post edited for tone) criteria is she not fitting?
    !!!!!!

    Coping vibes for you Froddy.

As for self I could be described as 'less than fragrant' eau de durian for a guess. Took spare knickers to work as I didn't want to do a Tiny but all ok.

Have managed to iron a shirt and do some work stuff.

Hugs for those having a hard time of it with parents, kids, health etc. Life's not fair but stay positive, don't let them beat you.

    Kitchen ok
    Living area ok

Bedrooms, work in progress, must be done today as step mum arrives at 5 then BIL and 2 kids arrive on Sunday evening but we will have been away all weekend so if it's not done today it's not getting done.

Visitors rooms now at least tidy (well junk out of sight) and hoovered. It's only taken me 30 minutes to hoover over there so why do I leave it so long each time.

Everywhere still needs deep cleaning but place is now looking so much better and I am starting to like this house again. We have lived here for 16 years and I loved this house until a few years ago. I think it was a mixture of the girls going awa to study, us building our futur retirement home which is currently a great weekend/holiday home for us all by the sea and a rapidly growing list of expensive repairs/maintenance that has made me see it as a burden. I am starting to remember why we fell in love with it and why it has been such a wonderful place to bring up a family.

Sorry for waffle but hoping writing my thoughts might help me see reality

Menus planned last night so shopping is the next thing.
    xx

    Morning all.
I've done a work shift and just had breakfast. Next is watering the garden, finishing some voluntary paperwork and then doing the list.

    ^^wot she said ^^. Xx

    So far today I have:
1 load washed and on the line
    HHI
Been to the market for f&v. Been to Mr M for everything else.
Played fridge tetris to get everything in, even after having had my very own version of Bake Off going last night to use up random things.

Off to tackle the bedroom next. The fencer man has just left - funny how I can get work done on the garden, but getting DH to see that the house is a &*!? pit is nigh on impossible.

Oh and I think we need To Do A Tiny to be in the OE dictionary. :rotfl:
