Huawei if you need uk warranty.
Most of the xiaomi is grey import at the moment which means you need to send all the way back to china to get it fix.
Wait until 08 Nov when Xiaomi launch in london to check if they are still value for money0 -
You aren't going to get anything special at that price level but the 2018 version of the Moto E5 is very good value for money.
It only has 2gb of ram and 16gb of storage but it also has a micro sd card slot. Stick in a 32Gb card and you can store thousands of photos.
It has a 5.7 inch screen which may be a bit large but that's a matter of personal preference.

Thanks for the recommendation......I managed to get 2 of the Moto E5s for my parents. Carphone Warehouse are doing them for £59 if you take out a 1 month contract with Vodafone for £13 which I'll cancel immediately, so the cost is £72 which I think is a bargain as it seems to be £119.99 elsewhere. The are more than adequate for my parents needs and will be a lot better than their 1st gen Moto Es.0 -
I currently have a Moto G (3rd Gen - 16GB)
It's getting a little sluggish and "storage space running out" messages.
I looked at the 6th Gen (?) but it seems bigger and I don't really want anything bigger.
Any suggestions for a decent and reasonably priced Android phone of a similar size to mine please?0 -

FWIW I have a G4 Plus and bought my wife the G6 when her G4 acted up (Motorola then replaced that with a refurbished one). I've not had a G3. The G6 is a little taller but not wider than the G4 and it does not feel like a bigger phone in practice. I'm not show how it compares to a G3 - certainly my G4 is bigger than average.
The G6 is certainly a decent phone and adds back in some features missed on earlier versions (e.g. NFC (European models only) and Compass).
The only other issue is that they've moved up in price significantly so they are not the no-brainer that they once were. Street prices have not dropped from the launch level though so they're not too bad. It arguably looks higher quality (e.g glass back), but mine is always in a case which hides all that anyway.
There are quite a lot of phones at the lower end of the market now which don't require many compromises. I'm no expect on these sadly.

GSMarena and play around with the phone finder, come back and ask which is the better phone out of 2 or 3 options.

Well, staring with a 1 would be good
A top of the range Huawei Mate 20 RS would meet that requirement. It starts with a 1, unfortunately there is a 920 after the 1
