Thank you all 😁.Such a busy day. Up at 5.30 and didn't sit down until gone 9pm. Had to go into work twice as needed to get some more stuff done but had rearranged to have my nephew, so came back and had him for a couple hours, fed him and then went back in to finish up. Does mean I get the weekend off though. DD came back with me and I am glad she did as I find it pretty creepy when I'm there alone and everyone else had left when I got back. Ended the day on over 30,000 steps and I'm shattered, doubt I will sleep good though 🙄.DS got sent home early today because someone in the office tested positive for covid. He has only had his first jab so far, so he has to have a PCR negative result and then should he allowed back? It's all very confusing. Have ordered him a home kit that should be arriving tomorrow. He didn't feel that he should get the bus home so he rang my dad, who went and picked him up.Managed to get petrol this evening on my way home. Put £15 in and should last me all next week, as we are planning a quiet weekend at home. Have rearranged to see my friend another time.Got tickets in the post today for a show we had booked for DDs birthday last year. I didn't realise I had booked the 8.30 showing 🤦🏻♀️ means we will have to get a taxi back quick to station for the last train home. I don't really like the idea of it as it will just the two of us.Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.SPC 0762

The NHS guidelines state a PCR should be done but that anyone under 18yrs and 6 months don't need to isolate while waiting for the results if they have no symptoms. Workplaces have their own rules though. We are going through this atm, 12yr old had a positive LF yesterday and then threw a temperature, so me and the two teens went with him to be tested this morning. Weekend away cancelled. Possible theme park trip cancelled. Such crap timing! My two teens have had one jab and were then told they wouldn't be offered a second one, but other 16&17 year olds seem to have been given two so all very confusing.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉3

Oh no, sorry your plans have been cancelled DAL. I hope your little one is feeling okay. How odd about being given one jab and not getting another. My DS has had one and they said they'd be in touch for the next one, so we shall see.Lazy weekend at home, I was so tired I was glad for it. My brother and family did come over for a quick visit, which was real nice as haven't seen them for a few months. He filled his car with some of the orders I have done, but still got a dining room full of boxes left. Hoping DH will be able to get more petrol this week and take them back. A huge order is coming soon, not sure I will be able to fit it all in the dining room (will be nearly 180 boxes 😩).DS's home kit arrived on Saturday but we had missed the last post, so couldn't take the test until this morning and I popped it in the post on the way to work. Hopefully get his results tomorrow.Woke up late this morning and felt like I was in a mad rush for the rest of the day, really hate that. Had DD's parents evening after school, was nice to be able to go in and meet her teacher this year. All was good, and DD is doing well 😊. They were having a uniform sale in the hall so picked her up a brand new logo'd jumper for £2.SPC 0761

DS's results have come back today, negative thankfully. He can go back in Friday now, as he has a college day tomorrow, but from home. They have said they will still pay him for his days off, which I thought was good of them.Went to see my best friend yesterday after I picked up DD from school, as it was her birthday. She liked her presents and had had a nice day 😁. DD also bought home a party invite, has been ages since I've seen one of those 😆 will have to sort a present out for that.Had a settlement letter for one of our remaining debts, but still a bit to much for us at the moment.Cut my hand at work today, only little but lots of blood and it's aching now. After decking it in front of everyone the other week, least they know I wasn't fibbing when I said how clumsy I can be 😂🤦🏻♀️.It is our 10th wedding anniversary next week, we have always gone out for breakfast with the kids to celebrate but as we are going to London the week after, we thought we would skip it, the children were not impressed at all about breaking this tradition, so we are still going out for it after much sulking from them about it 😆.My brother got a pool table so DH is off up there tonight to play a few games, so going to sort an order for work and get some stuff prepped for the order coming from my other brother.SPC 0761

Happy Anniversary.
Some of my best family meals out have been breakfasts so go for it, for as long as they are young enough to get up for breakfast
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine3 -
Love your anniversary tradition. It was ours yesterday, we went out for lunch on Wednesday and then couldn't do anything yesterday as waiting PCR results after smallest had a positive LF. Tbf we don't really do anything anyway. Except the year we went to Vegas and redid our marriage vows with Elvis!Debt free Feb 2021 🎉3

Thank you all, belated anniversary wishes to you DAL.Has been so busy at work, have been in for the last 10 days and don't have a day off until next Friday. On call this weekend too, hopefully they don't ring in the middle of the night with anything major. I know the manager often ends up sleeping there as some groups ring so often. Do get paid extra for it though, so will boost next month's pay. Have had some great days at work in the last week though, have had some truly lovely groups in. Had to cancel my doctors appointment for this morning, but have booked another for next month.DS has been back at work and still loving it. He managed to catch the wrong bus on his first day back and went in completely the wrong direction 🤦🏻♀️ DH had to go and pick him up and get him there.Enjoyed a lovely carvery Sunday evening, DH's mum treated us and it was so good. She also asked what we all wanted for Christmas, so we asked if she was happy to buy some theatre vouchers, she asked what we would see and then said she would book the tickets now, so we have School of Rock booked for next year when it comes to Bristol 😁.Also have Lion King tickets for next year, my brother bought me a ticket after I had both of his boys for the weekend a while back, to say thank you. DS bought his own ticket, so just paid for DH and DD's ticket. Will be going with my brother and his family too, so will be a lovely day out. Also booked to go see the Foo Fighters, that is our anniversary present. Will also be 4th time lucky for my sister's wedding date. So lots to look forward to next year already 😁.SPC 0762
