Was a bit optimistic today and put two loads of washing on. Did manage to get one load dried before the rain returned, other load hanging up on the airer now. Really need to get a new umbrella as mine broke and although it's pouring down, it is so warm out and I get so hot wearing my rain coat.

DD was excited to go to the new group at swimming today but when we got there we found out we'd already missed it :o I'd been given the wrong time on the letter last week. They let her join her old group for this week so least she got to go in.

DS is on his second day of his mock exams. He's thinking of dropping business in year 11 as there was a problem with the computers at school and he's lost nearly a whole years worth of work

DH got bit by a horse fly at work and his hand is swelling very badly, so he took his wedding ring off and now seems to have lost it :( he thinks it's at home somewhere but yet to turn up, so we will see.

No spends today, definitely need more after recent spending.

That is crazy about the computers at school, don't they have a backup available?

The computer technicians are looking into it, but they said it is looking likely that his work is lost  think there is about 4 others in the same situation. It is not good enough, but not much anyone can do if it is lost :(

Popped to see my sister after work today, lots of talk about her wedding :) DS had his meeting after school and another of DD's front teeth has fallen out so tooth fairy will be visiting again tonight.

Had a refund in the bank for £32 today from npower, nice to get! Also found out the paperwork for DS's government Trust fund that was set up, had to ring and change the address and they said we should get a updated statement now. No idea what will be in there, but think it was set up with £250? We will see.

Still no sign of DH's wedding ring. Kitten very playful and feels like she's been here alot longer than a week, she's lovely :)

So, some stuff has happened with DS again. I'm not going to go into any detail right now as I'm not sure how to put it into words right now or how I'm feeling about it all. But I spent the night in the hospital with him. Wish he could see what a beautiful person he truly is.

It was a long day and night so there has been money spent, don't know how much, nor will I worry about it. Going to get a early night tonight and hopefully get some sleep. Work have told me not to go in for a few days but to put my hours in, not sure if I feel right doing that though.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. I have best friend coming tomorrow, she always seems to make sense of things better than me.

sorry to hear all that - hope things straighten out for you - but with older kids it will probably be later rather than sooner. I loved when they were toddlers everything was over in a flash - with teenagers and older everything changes over a longer period usually for the better and I hope that's the case for you
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

So sorry to read that robin. I hope things get better for your DS, and of course you, very soon.
  • I'm really sorry to hear about DS Robin. I really feel for you and I hope that he's in a better place soon. You're doing everything you can and he's getting professional help. I'll be thinking of you.
