Haven't checked in for a few days.

Enjoyed a nice family bbq at MIL's on Sunday. Yesterday DS had an appointment, caught the early train up to get there in time, popped into town after to buy DD some much needed new pants, socks and night dresses. DH went and had his stitches out today, 59 of them and he's going to have a good scar there. Still in the splint and has weekly physio for a couple more months, but he is saying he will probably go back to work soon.

DS came into work with me today, he wasn't feeling too good again :( I'm very lucky that my boss allows me to do this and cares for all my family. Know I'm never going to find anyone like them. Ball is rolling now though for them to sell up and retire. So will be looking for a new job at some point soon.

Ordered some birthday presents last week but although it said it was delivered to my address and signed by me, I definitely didn't have it. Asked around and no one had it. So they have refunded me and it turned up today  they have said not to worry, so £25 up and presents sorted :)

Been checking what I need for the new term in September and it's not as much as I thought. DS has less than a year left and his Blazer and PE kit are still fine and fit. Even his shoes will be good, last year I left it to the day before he went back and ended up spending nearly £60 on them, but they are good quality and he says they are very comfy. His bag did break and he's using a old one he used to use for camp, so will need a new one and some shirts, trousers and stationery. DD has plenty of dresses and trousers, my sister bought her a Harry Potter lunchbag a few weeks back to put away. She will just need some new shirts, Cardigans and shoes I think :)

Thanks NMC, yes everything seems to be going wrong lately, but trying to get on with things as best as we can. Yes very lucky with my boss, have known them since I was little and they have always made me feel like one of the family, will miss working with them all.

Had the day off today, and haven't stopped. Popped to see best friend for a bit to help her with some stuff, stopped at the charity shop to drop some stuff off, cleaned the house, sorted some more stuff to take to the charity shop (why does stuff seem to multiply even when I regularly get rid of stuff ) mowed the lawns, this was not fun! Usually DH's job and it was not good for my hayfever but looks like a garden again instead of a meadow :D it's been so hot too, which makes everything that little bit harder for me. Will be glad to go back to work tomorrow to have a rest.

DH went back to work today, knew he wouldn't hang around much longer, he said he got on okay doing some stuff one handed. Have to admit, it was quite nice to come home from work to a empty quiet house and have a hour peace and quiet, just me and the cat :D my sister then turned up, but was nice to see her so will let her off:rotfl:

My sister also gave me £20, I had actually forgotten about it, I had ordered her some stuff a while back. So I decided to use it and rejoin slimming world this evening. Have done it before but this last year I have put the majority back on, would really like to get back on it as feeling quite frumpy lately and I know I eat way to much cake :o also picked a good week for it as it was taster session and I won a book on the raffle :)

Thanks Jwil. I got quite close to target last time, got ill, never went back and slowly the bad habits creeped back in :o need to lose 2 stone and a bit to get to my new target. Have been following along with yours, well done on your one and half stone and bronze awards :T I've never done the exercise one, will look into it.

Work was hot hot hot today! DH started at 5 this morning so he could finish before it got too hot, he got on okay again. DC were tired and hot, will be glad for the school holidays. DD still has two weeks to go though. Still waiting for school reports and sports day. DS has a sponsored walk coming up soon, so will give him some money for that. Unsure what to do for teachers gifts.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

It's easy to get off track when life gets in the way. Good luck with it. I'm in it for the long haul sadly, especially at the rate I'm going!

The bronze award is easy to achieve, only 15 mins 3 times a week. I'm trying to make an effort to move more, so these are a good way of motivating me.

I will be in for the long haul aswell Jwil, if I want to maintain the losses, not like last time and letting it all pile back on :o my problem is I have a very sweet tooth. Really going to give it my best shot as I am fed up lately with how much I've put on.

Worked again today, really don't like doing Saturdays but have done a fair few lately, never mind will like it when my wages arrive. Afterwards, I walked to a carnival with DD. It was actually really rubbish, only spent about 20 minutes there, took a hour to walk there and back . Still spent around £10 in as many minutes though  DS has his friend staying for the night, so grabbed them some snacks on the way back through. Spending money when I should be not spending any :naughty:

DD has mentioned in passing a few times that she would like a party for her birthday, mainly a disco. She hasn't ever had a big party before, but I'm thinking this year will probably be best to do it as big parties generally stop when they are that little bit older. She will be 7 this year. Will have to have a look around and see what sort of prices it may be.

My sweet tooth is my downfall too!

    Have a good day :)

Haven't checked in for a while. Felt like I haven't stopped this week with work, clubs, visitors and meetings. Today's appointment was for the kittens boosters, she was not impressed.

Had a fantastic school report for DD, she is secure in all areas and working in greater depth in some subjects. She got 100% on her phonics test and over the whole year only got 2 spellings wrong on her tests :D did treat her to some new books and a little toy to say well done. Also ordered DS some more revision books, in the hope that one day he might actually open one :o

First weigh in yesterday and I lost 4lb, so very happy with that. Did have a bad headache for the first few days, probably my body wondering where the cake had gone :rotfl:

Have work tomorrow but planning on just chilling at home for the rest of the weekend. DD still has a week left at school and you can tell she's ready to have a rest. DS has sponsored walk on Monday and then breaks up half day on Tuesday, I'm hoping a break will do him good and he will go into y11 with some focus, I can hope anyway.
