Thank you Honeysucklelou for the birthday wishes, it is tomorrow. The DC are doing Go Ape, so will enjoy watching them do it with my brother and spend time with my nephew too. Might go out after for some lunch.
My parents just rang and asked if I would like to go to see my Nan next weekthey have booked me and the DC a family room, DH will not be able to come again. Said it will be my birthday treat. So excited, love going to visit my Nan and to spend the day by the sea. Cannot wait to tell DD in the morning as she's been asking a lot when we would be able to go back to visit :j

Thank you for the birthday wishes. Jwil, hope you had a lovely birthday too
Really enjoyed our day out. The DC really enjoyed Go Ape and was nice to see my brother and family. They treated us all to lunch afterwards, which was very kind of them and was delicious. My sister came to visit when we was home. Had some lovely gifts too. A lovely day
Today, there is a free event at the library so will be taking DD to that. Hoping to also catch up with my other sister too. DS has a friend coming over for the day, so no doubt I will be ferrying them about at some point too.SPC 0760 -

Thank you Jwil, sorry to read you have been feeling a bit blue over your birthday weekend
Yesterday's trip to the library was a quick one. There were queues to get in and they obviously was not expecting such a big crowd as no one knew what to do. I had heard it was an animal event but it was just two sausage dogs :rotfl: very popular it would seem! Must have been at least 100+ people trying to get in the tiny library. So we left and went for a walk before catching up with my sister.
Today, DD went on football camp for the day. £10 spent and she had a fantastic time and come home muddy and tired, a sure sign of a good day out. Plus she didn't have to be bored at work with me. Had time to come home and pack for tomorrow before picking her up. DS was in and out with his friends.
Can't wait to go see my Nan tomorrow. Have work first so will be going straight after, it's a long journey so will take food to eat on the way. Will have a walk down the sea front after visiting and have bagged up all the 2p's for the arcadeSPC 0760 -

Thank you HHOD and Jwil
Had a lovely couple of days visiting my Nan, was wonderful to see her. It is a year today since my Grandad passed away and she is still getting used to being on her own. It is a long journey for just an overnight stay so it tired us out but was nice to go. Enjoyed an evening stroll at the sea front and DC spent some time in the arcade.
Yesterday I took DD to work with me and then after met friends at the woods before taking her to another friend's party.
Popped to town this morning to go to a fundraising event and had a look in the charity shops, got DD some books and a jumper. Burtons and DP had good sales on so picked up DS some bits and myself some new tops. My Nan gave me some money for my birthday and with what I already had, it covered all the costs of half term spending
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend and enjoying the sunshine.SPC 0760 -
