  • WI tonight, and we have taster evening. Had a panic yesterday as was asked to stay late, knew what I was going to cook for the taster, but in addition to working later, I also had to go to a meeting :( Got home a lot later than I expected, so was going to get takeaway and rethink about taster. BUT, was very good, made a veggie !!!!!ash, so have covered taster evening also. Was nearly 10 by the time I got to eat though:eek: Don't like eating that late.

Trying to pack for holiday, will be staying with family, but you have no idea of the amount of chocolate I have to take with me! Having said that, as I bought in Costco, saved a bit, so MSE:D

Not had a chance to catch up here, but will when I get home tonight hopefully. Hope all well with everyone.
A smile costs little but creates much :)
  • Well done Kathrynha for your gold body magic award and well done all the losers, especially Stoke.

Haven't been around much - changed over broadband suppliers (which was a nightmare) and hubby has been a bit of an !!!!! so all in it's not been a good week.

It's not really been a good week food wise either.....a client brought in a home made curry, which although was really nice was so off plan it was unbelievable. Tried having small portions but it needed eating up as it was quite aromatic.

Keeping up my water drinking though so not dehydration isn't an issue this week.

Weighing strategically tomorrow instead of Saturday - son is leaving the company tomorrow to start with the police so we'll be having a bit of a drinks thing with him and then going out in the night with some of the sea cadet unit Hubby was chairman of. Will be nice to see the crowd again - especially as they haven't seen the slimmed down version !

Back from WI and amazed to have lost lb! Not bad after being really off plan from Thursday to Saturday but have been 100% since I got home on Sunday morning.

    Today's plan:

    B - melon & grapes after WI
L - sweet potato jacket; tuna mayo; HM red onion chutney
D - HM KFC chicken, baked beans, corn on the cob & fries - looking forward to that as not done it for a while.

Syns - 3 Tbs LTL mayo 1.5 syns; breadcrumbs 2.5 syns

Had a simple salad + char-grilled chicken bits from Sainsbury's super healthy, super free, super low calories.

Oh and to satisfy that sweet tooth, I had a bottle of lucozade zero which is a dream.

Not sure about tea yet, but might delve into the freezer and have some diced beef with some veggies :)
  • Sorry - just read my thread and could have sworn I added my condolences to esmy.

Esmy - I'm sorry for your loss and as others have said, there are times when Slimming World has to take a back burner; these is one of those times definitely.
