Not sure what's for tea yet today, need to do some shopping, but brunch will be bacon, scrambled eggs with spring onion, mushrooms, tomatoes, and I'm treating myself to a crumpet!

Another lovely day today; seems to be slightly cooler so more comfortable. Hopefully will be cool enough to sit in the garden this afternoon, otherwise I'll carry on doing some sewing - made myself a pair of shorts yesterday from my own pattern! They're not brilliant but will do for being at home, don't think they're good enough to take on holiday, LOL!
Today's plan:
B - SW fry up
L - Ham salad sandwich; LTL mayo instead of butter 0.5 syn
D - mixed bean goulash, rice
HEA - milk
HEB - WM bread
Syns - probably wine, although didn't fancy any last night so had gin (saved a few syns!); LTL mayo 0.5

Delighted for you tete. Well done!:TSyns - probably wine, although didn't fancy any last night so had gin (saved a few syns!)

I was angelic last night. After the 4lbs gain I decided I had to start to try and see it off. I had an AF Friday evening! I know I won't be able to lose it all soon as I've got a lot on in the next 10 days but I'm going with your 'be good when I can' mantra.:)
Well done on the shorts. What are you making next? I've been wearing really loose dresses lately (29 degrees here yesterday) and I'm sure I could make my own.:)
Another problem could be that I don't measure milk and, as I've had cereal for breakfast for a couple of weeks, extra syns may have crept in. I made overnight oats for the first time with just oats, berries and yogurt. I couldn't believe how far just 40g of oats went. I'll definitely have it again. Any tips to ring the changes with flavours, ingredients etc?
I'm going to try a SW version of the pub lunch I had in the week today using cottage cheese (with tomato puree and paprika) instead of Marie Rose sauce.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB overnight oats with red berries, HEA milk for drinks
L: Smoked salmon 'wrap' with prawn cocktail stuffing, saladsausages, baked red onions, bubble & squeak, tomatoes, mushrooms
Syns: sausages 2, Parmesan 1 and I anticipate wine syns!:D0 -
Hello All
Well all been a bit hit and miss this week, was doing pretty well and then sadly we lost hubbies brother to that dreaded 'c' on Wednesday and the everything has been out of whack. Tried my best to stay on track but there have been good days and bad days (involving kebab, chips and cooked breakfast). We all seem to be drifting along, I guess in limbo until the funeral. Although we knew it was coming it was still a shock he was only 50 and my kids were very close to him.
I'm planning on just a salad tonight and tomorrow pon chicken gyro and rice and salad so hopefully a little more controllable meal wise but not holding out for a loss next week.

Well done GTS and Vix on your losses!
Commiserations Maman but 4lb is not bad all things considered. I can do that in a weekend if I try my hardest
My Tesco stopped selling the beetroot, I loved it (counted it as free though) just looked and it wasn!!!8217;t the same, yours is in vinegar my wasn!!!8217;t.
So sorry for your loss Sirens, expected or not it!!!8217;s still a shock. Take care of you and yours :A
WI with gain of .6lb surprised it wasn!!!8217;t more really. Had an unexpected meal out midweek plus cheesecake at home. Technically a date night but as son has the car at night we had to go during the dayalso binged on ice cream last weekend but the least said about that the better
My lads are off to Birmingham on Tuesday to see Iron Maiden so anxiety building already. Did I mention been back to Dr, bloods all ok (again) so upped my meds (again) to see if that helps but so far I!!!8217;d say nope, still flaking out Randomly
. I do try and fight it but sometimes I can!!!8217;t
would be nice if I felt better for it but I don!!!8217;t.

Maman I'm not keen on overnight oats, I find them a bit claggy. I much prefer baked oats - same recipe as overnight oats but with the addition of an egg. I cook mine in silicon muffin tins and 40g makes 2 good sized muffins - definitely too much for breakfast so I have one with fruit & quark for breakfast and then the other one mid morning with my coffee. I use various flavourings - currently I've got coconut, black cherry, gin & tonic, almond, vanilla, pistachio & apple plum crumble. I get the flavourings on line from cupcake world. When I use the almond I add a 5g of almonds between the 2 muffins for 1.5 syns and with the coconut I stir in 5g of desiccated coconut again 1.5 syns.
You could also try different flavoured yoghurts rather than natural I suppose but not something I've ever tried.
I think it was Bubbs used to make carrot cake flavoured ones by adding grated carrot - I still haven't tried that but may do on Monday as I'm certain I'll still have a carrot in the fridge then!
Sirens so sorry for your loss. Put SW on the back burner for the time being if it makes things easier for you.
