Beanie, I put all the sunshine available today above bubbs head to shine on her for the full day.

I do like a bit of manky weather.... bit of rain, bit of wind, lots of cloud.

    Hi everyone.

Sorry I've been AWOL for a bit but we've had a family bereavement which will mean family members travelling from all over the world for the funeral (and us crossing the Irish Sea) so loads to sort out. As a consequence I went 'off it' for a bit last week but meal planning has resumed without any damage done. The saying 'Fail to plan, plan to fail' is very true of SW in my experience.

Well done all losers and Sky, SOTW again!

    Back later

Hugs hun. Life sometimes gets in the way of staying on plan, and it doesn't might. Deal with what you have to do, take care of yourself and your family, and the plan will be waiting for you when you are ready to get back to it.

Quite happy with the slightly cooler and cloudy weather at the moment. Didn't appreciate the torrential rain on Monday as I was out without a coat or umbrella though.

    Morning all!

So sorry for your loss Esmy, take care xx

Gigglinggoat, I didn't know we were giving out awards for 'Most syns consumed in a week' - thats definitely something I'd be a contender for!

Not this week though. I've surprised myself with my motivation and am feeling the benefits already with a much less bloated tum.

I managed a little tiny run last night! I've lost so much fitness it's unreal. Foot and ankle a bit sore this morning but going to carry on with my stretches and strengthening exercises so hopefully I'll be back doing half marathons again in no time.

    Today:
B - Granola and FF yog
D - Soggy quiche (2), grated carrot and beetroot (1), cucumber, cherry tomatoes
T - Speedy turkey bolognese with quinoa
    Snacks - Banana, apple, passionfruit
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - Granola
    Syns - Dinner (2), coconut oil (2), sugar in coffee (4), hot choc (2) = 10

Does anyone have any new recipes they've tried and enjoyed? I made some Hairy Bikers' Minchi last week which I'd never heard of. It smells so Chinesey and delicious but was a bit bland. I think I'll make it again but with more Five Spice. I also tried Hasselback potatoes the other day and OMG I could eat them all the day long!
