I’m feeling flatter than a pancake this week (just wish I had the stomach to match).
I can’t really put my finger on anything specific that has made me feel like this but I think everything is really bugging me down.
Mum, work, the ex, money, the house, my health, the constant struggle daily trying to balance everything. It’s hard work and I feel like i’m sinking rather than swimming at the moment.
I went for my ‘lump’ check on Monday and thankfully it seems it’s nothing to worry about. I have still been referred to a surgeon about another issue though, not sure when i’ll hear about that. I am worried about this as I have been in quite some pain for some time now.I’m praying it’s nothing nasty. ☹️
Lunch for me today was DS’s leftovers last night so that was a bit of money saved. Today has been a NSD and will need to be one of many until some more money comes in.
I’m off to pick DS up now, will check in again later, hopefully when i’ve found my enthusiasm for life. ☹️ XxMortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

I can totally relate MeandO. It's hard when it's just one thing after the other and completely relentless. I'm beyond fed up of having to watch every single penny every single day, fed up of my home situation (I want to remortgage and can't), Christmas is coming and I have no money. Meh.
Sorry to hijack your diary but wanted to let you know you're not alone.
Hope all is well health wise. Not giving up

I am also feeling rather flat. Just so much going on and it's always so hard to make yourself a priority.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0

So sad to hear lots of us are feeling this way, it’s really not much fun is it. I wish I knew what to do about it and could suggest something to make us all feel better, but apart from winning the lottery (which I rarely play since it went up to £2 a ticket), I’m stumped.
Sending you all lots of hugs back anyway.
Well, the poop pile was added to tonight by yet more bad house news.
I’ve discovered via a residents fb group that many of these houses have inadequate fire protection - this developer was exposed early this year about missing fire barriers - well, it seems they are still building them without them or installing them incorrectly. The house next door has had remedial work done. It’s yet another thing for me to shout about to the worst customer care department ever, tomorrow. I am so sick of this.
The worst part of it is, they know about these potentially deadly issues yet they have failed to contact me. I have found out secondhand from other residents. It”s disgusting.
I think this is the last straw for me. The house is being sold next year, I cannot live like this for much longer. It is making me ill. I’ve cried buckets tonight. It’s not even quite a year since That awful day I found out my last lovely home was almost beyond repair, verging on dangerous and I had to move quick, now less than a year later I’m already gearing up for moving again due to house problems. I can’t cope with this.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

My lovely Mum received her gift today that I originally bought for her birthday but was scared to think she may not be here for it.
It really cheered her up and she loved it, so that’s done what it was meant to do.
I’ve received a refund of £7.95 for a damaged item bought on eBay. It cost me £2.79 to return it  but it’s better than losing all of the money.
Lunch is made for tomorrow for work - Leftovers from tonight. I’m trying to encourage DS to eat better and try new things so he helped me cook dinner tonight.
I feel bad. I’m aware that i’ve been a bit snappy this week with him at times and I hate being like this. It’s because i’m tired, worried, stressed, overwhelmed and when i’ve had to ask him to brush his teeth for the 5th time or hurry up and get his shoes on for school, I’ve lost my normal cool, calm and reasonable persona a little. I’m not a shouty Mum at all. DS is good as gold and I always talk to him about things and reason with him, so I think t hear me snap this week a couple of times has shocked him a little.I feel just awful.
I’m off to sleep. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day. For everyone. XxMortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16

Sorry to read about more house problems...how can builders/developers get away with such utter incompetence? I can understand your wanting to move.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're still having house problems. It must feel as though it's never ending, and I had really hoped that you'd be ok with a new build. I know there are snags in new buildings but these are huge issues that you're having to deal with.
Sending you all my love and hoping for a significant upturn in your luck very soon. Not giving up

Thank you so much both, I do so appreciate your support.

Morning all,
DS and I are snuggled under a duvet on the sofa - the best start to a Sunday.(Apart from the 6am wake up this morning after a night plagued with nightmares about my Mum
).
The sports direct order arrived and most of it will have to be returned. The coat was no good, boots are tiny despite ordering a size larger than normal, the jumper is completely see through and the swimsuit is so short in the body it’s ridiculous! At least it will be about £50 back on the credit card though. All of the clothes and the trainers I bought DS are perfect for him though so he has some nice new clothes, plenty of larger socks and a pair of trainers which he can also wear as school shoes as they’re black.
I’ve made quite good progress on the Christmas shopping, thankfully. I was getting nervous about it all as I have usually started shopping way earlier than this and my Mum and Dad have also asked me to do a lot on behalf of them as they can’t get out like they used to. It has been paid for with both the savings and the credit card and there’s still around £120 in the gifts savings account which can go towards paying it off the card.
I made a big batch of stew yesterday, two portions of which have gone in the freezer for a later date. There’s chicken and pancetta out of the freezer this morning for a risotto tonight which will feed OH and I for lunch tomorrow too. DS will be with his Dad this afternoon.
It’s a beautiful sunny day outside so we will aim to pay the local nature reserve a visit this morning and make the most of no rain or wind for a change. After that it will be home to make cookies - I bought all of the ingredients needed from home bargains yesterday so should be a nsd today.
Happy Sunday all xxMortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,706.16
