    Hi

I tried to switch to EE with the MSE deal which seemed great, but when I went through the checkout it wanted to add £60 installation fee for a new line. If I didn't already have a phone line, this would be fine, but I don't see why a new one needs installing when I already have a BT line through my existing Sky Talk/Broadband. Spoke to EE and they said there is no way around this, I have to pay the fee.

    Hmmph!
I too have Sky Talk/Broadband and they never tried to charge me for a new line. For my full sign-up experience have a look at this, post #13:

  • They may be cheap but Talk Talk are the pits i was stuck with them for a year I constantly had problem connecting & often lost the connection when I did get on & the speed was a Joke Im currently with B T sure they are expensive but what a difference even on the 1st day it was an improvement after a few days the difference was unbelievable sure I like to save money but there are times its just not worth it. I would never go back to Talk Talk & im not alone several friends have had or are having the same problems:mad:
  • I tried to get the EE deal for land line and broadband tonight (22/04/14) and was told the deal ended on 16th April. A few minutes later they sent me an email confirming the deal was still on. Am now confused, anyone out there any ideas please?

I was a customer transferred over from O2 and was paying line rental of £15.40.i called yesterday and asked for my mac ode as advised by fellow forum users. I told the advisor EE are cheaper and that some people are being offered phone and broadband for £7.50 with yourselves. The advisor spoke to his manager to see what could be done and came back with an offer for free line rental meaning I am now paying £7.50 for both phone and broadband with free evenings and weekend calls on a 12month contract.happy days :-)

I've moved from BT to Virgin to TalkTalk and have kept the same number.

It's probably scare tactics to try and keep her with them.

If she has a cable line she may have to. Probably best to ask the company she plans to move to, rather than ask Virgin!

I guess you're talking about Sky here? Do you also have TV with them? I rang over the weekend and only got offered around £18 for BB and Telephone!
  • Hi,
Back in January, when the EE broadband offer of £100 Amazon voucher came out on MSE, I took the offer thinking that since it was through MSE, I will not end up being a loser. Unfortunately, even after 4 months of taking the offer, I have not received the amazon vouchers. Please somebody help. Has anybody received the £100 voucher from the Jan offer. If yes, which company sends the voucher?
