ive also just noticed sky do 19 for everything so only 2.50 more than talktalk and i get some extra tv channels, got to be worth it??

But your need to add to that the cost of a landline, which is not included in £19 bundle.

im also looking for a new broadband provider.. im just coming to the end of my free year with virgin.net broadband that came with my mobile phone contract and am looking for a replacement... the problem ive got is we will be moving house in less than a year so i dont want to be hit with any cancellation fees when we move...

ive seen the talk talk deal which doesnt seem bad... we dont have sky tv so thats not an option... i could get the virgin cable broadband deal but that would involve getting cable and an installation fee...

does anyone know anything about free orange broadband? my other half has an orange mobile, has been with them for years and pays a large line rental coz she uses her mobile for work... can we get free orange broadband to replace our free virgin broadband?

    any advice.....
  • oh yes i forgot sky doesnt include line rental! so its either got to be talktalk 16 49 virgin (with the dreaded cable) 15.50 or sky (with bonus of tv) for 30... or keep bt and get a 9.99 broadband deal totalling 20.99 a month

Just noting, that O2 are offering unlimited broadband(fup) 8mb to standard customers for £12.50 a month and initial reviews on ispreview.co.uk seem quite alright at the moment.

King Rolo, you can but try! Just ask for a manager at customer services - then say that you feel they have broken their contract by not providing the service you signed up for and quote any info you can find on the net re ofcom etc. and see the response.

King Rolo, no doubt in the adverts you will see the magic weasel words "up to" so complaints about not getting speeds are likley to fall on deaf ears IMO, unless it was good then went bad of course

All ISP rely on the "Up to" AFAIK
