Well the best retention offer I can get from PlusNet is now 18 months Fibre (up to 38 meg) @ £7.50 per month, plus line rental, plus £7.50 a month Anytime International calls (which I need for US and OZ), the line rental I can pay 12 months upfront so saving a little there.
Although I would really have liked to move to the SSE deal and have saved some money over my present useless non fibre set up, as that's gone and their energy is not at all competitive I can't see anything better.
Anybody?0 -

I am a current customer of BT for landline phone only.
Anyone know the best deal for switching right now to BT broadband (and poss TV), taking into account:
1 quidco/topcashback - looks like respetively £145/£99 (BB and TV) OR, respectively £85/£88 for broadband only.
2 Any cashback offered by BT (£125 mastercard credit atm)
3 Any cashback offered by elsewhere (which I guess will be intested of quidco/topcashback.
Appreciate any help!0 -

Not much use. £10 month plus line rental plus £6.50 Anytime International calls is more than Plusnet want so little point.0 -
Hello everyone,
I’ve found this deal as being the cheapest, what do you reckon? (non-fibre as I can’t receive it despite living very close to Birmingham!!)
Paying upfront for line rental and including the monthly charge it’s £284.91 for 12 months.
Less £88 topcashback
Less £75 mastercard
equals- £10.16 per month
Definitely the cheapest I’ve found for my new house when that hopefully completes at the end of the month.0 -
Are there any decent broadband only deals? The cheapest I could find is Plusnet at £12.50/month (going up to £13.50).0

look at my deal above, £10.50 a month0

Rang back today and they wouldn't go lower, just dropped the router postage charge, so as this was third time accepted and paid line rental saver upfront. So costing me an extra £3.50 a month for the first 12 months and then whatever the line rental is by then for the remaining 6 months.0 -
oops that was really silly of me.
It's with BT, but then I've just seen the plusnet deal up on HUKD, better than free for ADSL and line rental!!!0
