Still shopping at Amazon?

This very day I returned an expensive item to Amazon due to a change of mind and they've already issued a refund. How many online retailers would do that before even getting the item back.0

That's the vagaries of our banking system, not Amazon. I've never heard of them clawing back money in this way.0 -
Amazon have never stopped anyone from returning something due to a change of mind, they even pay for your return postage on top of the full refund so they go above and beyond what other retailers do. You keep making the same incorrect statements over and over again which is really starting to make you look silly (if you have some kind learning difficulty then I'm not trying to be offensive).
If it really makes you that sad then why do you give Amazon your money and make the CEO "richer" by getting a friend to order for you?.
Amazon do allow you to return goods for a full refund if you do change your mind, or if the item is faulty and I'm not disputing that at all. It's when you hit their mysterious algorithm by doing this and your account is closed without any warning is what I have an issue with.0 -

Changing the topic slightly I just caught the first 5 minutes of the Supershoppers programme last night and it was about returns. Apparently we are a nation of returners and we do like our returns. It then showed a lady who is constantly ordering lots of things and then sending a lot of them back. This I agree is wrong and can amount to abuse. I think some people though do like to constantly order things and then send them back.0

I say again - why are you so hung up on this ?
You arent a customer of theirs and you havent been banned0 -
I'm out of here. Have a nice day everyone
………& that was extremely short-lived! Expect the same will apply with your attitude towards Amazon "you'll be back", when it suits you.
In fact, you have already I believe. Your posts #17 & #23. Justified in your eyes, in mine hypocritical. "For moral and ethical reasons" you don't shop there, which went straight out the window when you wanted to purchase something (no difference if it's via someone else's account, for yourself or the family member you claim it was for).
I doubt very much Amazon sell any item that isn't available either on-line elsewhere or in a store - thousands of alternative shopping opportunities. So what exactly was this elusive item you simply had to purchase from the very place you don't shop in for your "moral & ethical reasons"?Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0
