    Hi lovelies

A week to go until pay day & £24 left in the budget  I've decided to try & spend £14 tonight at Aldi so I still have a tenner left for emergencies that might arise next week - milk etc. The good news is that hub is away & so I can get away with just getting bits in.

A bit of skrimping this week but should be fairly flush next week. Enough to throw some money at some other pots. Flush for me anyway :rotfl:

Had a bad night with the boys last night so I am really looking forward to hub getting home tonight even if it is just for a few days.

Grateful for ; books, my friend looking after my kids for me , the endless amount of meals I can make with eggs :D
  • My last post got eaten so apologies if this appears twice!

Aiming for a NSD today - lunch packed, breakfast at home done, and a clear out of my purse means a few work expenses are submitted and I have enough in cash and loose change to see me through the weekend (hopefully!)

    To do today:

    Spend nowt
    Check bank balance
Adjust budget to allow for new blind (and find cheapest deal)
    Get some knitting done
Spend time with the kids this evening - maybe watch a film together
  • Had a weird night my arm went completely dead and floppy. It was like jelly very weird. Ended up at A&E and got home about 3 am. Spent £25 unplanned but, it was all medical and very necessary as I hadnt eaten for 8 hours and also had to give my friend petrol to get me home. So still an NSD so far.
    Goals for today:
    Go for a walk
    Have an NSD
    Take today easy.
No Spend November 2/15 and SPC 134

    Good morning,

another SFD yesterday but today won't be as I pick up an ASD@ order. Stocked up on tinned stuff for healthy lunches (fish, beans, pulses etc). Also got some seeds etc to try and if I like them I'll try and get them cheaper in bigger quantities at the halal store next month. Also ordered some herbal teas to try and some other new foods to try and see how they affect my wellbeing/fit in to my eating plan/ healthier eating plan for the family.

SFD today and filling salad for lunch.

Roast chicken is in the slow cooker. DH and the kids get it as a treat dinner with onion rings and curly fries, I'll have veg (might share them ;).

DH will be going out later so I'll get on with a few things in the house and will write my old aunt a letter.

Also printed out some mortgage deals so hopefully will get to have a look over the weekend to remortgage. Finally got the bill from the car mechanic (MOT was 6 weeks ago!). Cheapest bill ever from him at £100 :)

Doctor's appointment was cancelled at last minute. Annoying but it'll give me a couple of weeks to behave myself and eat properly.
Had salad for lunch and was going to have sausage casserole from the freezer for dinner. When it defrosted it looked disgusting and is now in the bin (even Himself agreed it looked inedible!!!). So, he's having a potato and cheese omelette and I'm having a baked potato with cheese. Can always find something to eat in our house.
Went to Aldi and bought a few things - mostly needed but I confess to the ginger beer (it'll stop me drinking the wine though). I love anything with ginger in it.
Spent a while today washing, ironing and boxing up some (a lot) a the boy's clothes ready for him to take tonight. Gaps appearing.
    Have a nice weekend,
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

A - Will definitely be asking if it is necessary before purchasing. Not succeed today.
J - 13/20 NSD. Was a spend day. Did buy a few treats which were not my list.

N - Will bring lunch etc if going out etc. No need today.
E -Have to make a special effort to more healthy eating. Could do better.
    O - Will do.
D -Have DD for money already set up to go into savings. All done for the month now.

Kerry Woman don't be too hard on yourself, you are allowed atreat, now and then. I hope the finger supports help with your arthritis (what was the 'cheap' colour - keep thinking it's either really boring like old lady corset pink or lurid - purple or lime green).

Littleskintdragon well done on the PADing

gien hope you have another good day at the market and fingers crossed for your DH

sashanut I find your pompom waving very encouraging. The undo list is on its way.

laurenh1 it makes a lot of sense to do the overtime when you have free childcare and saving for specific things is very helpful. Try to make some time for fun, the housework will still be there tomorrow.

thriftylass the food diary sounds like a really good idea

indigo the arm thing sounds scary. Think you need to keep the diet coke atm, just try to keep it under control. You are doing really well in extremely difficult circumstances, be kind to yourself.

ccl you are through the worst of the marking, all downhill from here (and do make time for yourself)

misstara 'found' chocolate doesn't have any calories (it wasn't there, then it was, then it wasn't again).

    nannygladys a good allotment haul

f0xh0les grumpy? Remember the unicorns believe in you. Have fun with your 'not real' money

dolly84 yes, stick to running when the riding is scary (scarier than usual?)

GlendaSugarbean excellent start with the cancelled subscriptions

Toni'sfriend we love roadkill. Well done on the postponed appointment.

apple 'normal' is a setting on the washing machine. I am weird

    W Wonderful
    E exciting
    I interesting
    R real
    D different

But honestly, thank you for all your good wishes and for continuing to support each other whilst I was 'absent'.
