grannynise Sorry to hear about your father in law not-tagged-smiley-14571.gif...

...Well done Raphael and on losing your first stone, keep it up :j ...Well done also to Bargainbabe :j , Anic :j (loved the stories about your son's birthday :D you can use them for years to come :rotfl: ), missyg :j , delly :j katiepc :j and Dragon :j for passing the 2st mark...

...Bails Sorry I can't give you any help on the fertility topic, except that I've heard that the more you worry and stress about it the worse it seems to be. So my advice is to take things easy, you've been through such a lot (not to mention wanting to move house again) and then hopefully, things will work out on their own accord :D ...

...shinkyshonky 82u9nup.gifI just calorie count, I find it easiest as most foods have their calorific content on the packages and you are able to combine the foods that you like rather than sticking to pre designed plans and then having to adapt them. Whatever method you choose to follow, it all comes down to adhering to it :j . Well done on exercising at the gym, it's best to combine exercise and healthy eating for weight loss, is there anyone at the gym that can give you any dietry help?...

...Skint_Catt Sorry to see that you've had a bad week, hopefully the scales will be kind to you tonight, but if not, it's not the end of the world it'll help you to refocus. Do try and vary your lunches so that you don't get bored. Try and keep yourself occupied so that you don't think about food, I find that I don't think of food when I'm on the internet, in fact sometimes I've been late with the evening dinner for MrP :o (and it's all the fault of the naughty peeps here :D )...

...Ajax You little scallywag :rotfl: You'll go blind ...

...Although it's a grey day here on planet Petrichor, I must admit that I feel a jolly sight brighter and more positive regarding Christmas (at the moment anyway :o ) fingers crossed that it'll stay that way...

    xxxx

Thanks Pet I love that smilie its great you'll have to tell me where you get them from. I've got smiley central but they never seem to come out properly on here.

I don't know if any of you remember I ordered a coat from my catalogue back in October & they've been messing me about. Well it was in stock when I ordered it then they said it was out of stock & would be delivered 8th Nov, then I emailed them & was told delivery 11th Dec. I checked online last night to find my order has been cancelled but not by me I was really cross & sent them a snotty email asking what the heck was going on & they've emailed back this morning telling me they've had problems sourcing stock so they had no alternative but to cancel the order. They hadn't even bothered to let me know this either so am not happy at all & am now freezing cold, can't find another coat in the catalogue I like without spending over £100 & can't afford to get one in the shops so am really fuming now. Who would have thought a simple knee length black coat in size 18 would be so popular. I've noticed now though they've actually taken it off the website too. That's another issue with them it wasn't till I emailed them to find out where my new catalogue was that i found out they were no longer sending out catalogues & were now internet only. So i'm gonna close my account with them & find a new catalogue from somewhere, any recommendations??

Will pop back on tomorrow to post WI.
Ta ta for now tho shopping in tescos in a bit Emxxx

Thanks for the lovely words about my pain peeps:D much appreciated, unfortuantely for me it has not eased at all and my bones actually ache;) I have gone mad today washing curtains/nets/cushion covers/bean bag covers anything that is not nailed down really:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: because I can't just sit here in this much pain and because of stopping thinking about food and wanting it and have to focus on something other than the pain, I mean I can't even take a paracetemol, thought about putting deep heat on it but have not done so far...

Had an accident prone day today, I made sugar free jelly, put it in the fridge to set and must have closed the door a bit too hard because it went over everything in the fridge which I then spent ages cleaning:rotfl: :rotfl: the washing powder is put in a tupperware pouring thingy, the lid was not put on properly and I dropped it onto the floor, spending ages cleaning it up:rotfl: :rotfl: the washing machine was making a noise(one of the curtain hooks caught in it) so took the front off, held the bowl expecting a little water and then the hook.........it gushed so fast, loads of it so again spent time moping that up:rotfl: :rotfl:

Take it easy, should have done eh:D

Oh dear Victory, you didn't need a day like that on top of the pain.

Is there any point in trying a specialist pain clinic, hypnosis, TENS machine. I know nothing at all about any of this and probably you've already tried everything there is to try. Tell me to shut up.
  • 1lb off for me this week! Quietly impressed, considering the rubbish that I ate over the weekend and yesterday...

Does anyone else find that boots scales never manage to bring you up as the same height? In the last 3 weeks, I've gone from 5'3 - 5'5... Don't get me wrong, I'd like to be a little taller than the 5'3 I really am... But it might start shrinking me!! ;)
**"Cheer up, it could get worse" - I cheered up, and look, it got worse!**
  • thanks for all the PM's re secret santa. I will reply to all, probably tomorrow. Feeling very quiet tonight.

  • Those discworld cross stitches are fab! and i bet they keep you from nibbling too. hmmmmmmm, a plan is forming . . . . . i like that pic of susan but the one i'm thinking of is in the arto f the discworld. it's a sepia pencil drawing and she's wearing a buttondown coat and carrying the poker with all the bogey men behind her.

skint catt, don't worry about falling off the wagon. I have a rope tied to my ankles which is helping but i too have really been struggling. Don't go off anywhere, keep posting and you'll find your motivation. Did i tell you I've got new boots?

Emmalis, does your tesco do clothes? They've got some absolutely gorgeous stuffin at the mo and it's 20% off! I've just been stocking up on nice knitwear and a pair of trousers and a necklace just happened to jump in the trolley too. Still, binge shopping is better than binge eating isn't it? but less mse i know.

Petrichor LOVING that smiley, it made me giggle, like ajax quoting hte other one. Have just discovered that giant snack a jack chocolate flavour are only 3 syns each. thats a third of a pack of chocolatey goodness. and they are pretty chocolately too. hmmm, harry from spooks and chocolate. Think i'll leave oh upstairs stroking the boots. Did i mention I've got new boots? and new high heels that are apparently constructed entirely out of purple glitter.

Katiepc, you've been a bit vague. For a moment I thought you'd bought new boots but now I'm not so sure. Could you clarify?

Is that the shoes or is that the boots I hear someone has bought?
