Hmm, I've posted twice today and they've both disappeared into the ether - no idea what's going on! Sorry I can't reply for the THIRD time to everyone but you know that I'm thinking about you.

Big chat over with OH, went v well - he's a lovely man! Pet I do believe that someone mentioned boots! I think it may have been Kpc! Was telling my OH about them - he had to go and have a lie down just thinking about them (and Susan of course!).
KPC - my OH has the Clairecraft Death of Rats, Death at a party, the librarian and a dried frog pill box (no dried frog pills though). Love the cross stitch, but have no idea where I'd put it if I did one!Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
Ooh! I might have a recipe for Dried Frog Pills somewhere...
Shame I don't have the patience for cross-stitch really, I'll just have to stick with posters lol.**"Cheer up, it could get worse" - I cheered up, and look, it got worse!**0 -
So far I have on the SECRET SANTA list:
suggs
kpc
bargain babe
retired lady
beanie
bails
anic
julegr
me (BB)
petrichor
emmalis
justmarried
katyk
PLEASE POST OR PM TO BE ADDED TO THE LIST :j
You'll need to pm me your names and addresses, say by Mon 3rd December.
For those who haven't done this before: once I have all the names and addresses od everyone who wants to be involved , I send, by PM, each one of you the name and address of one person on the list for whom you have to spend £5-6 (amount to be confirmed yet) on one or several presents for your recipient. These have to be wrapped and sent by a certain date (yet to be decided but I'll give you several weeks to shop:D ).
It's nice to enclose your forum name inside so the recipient knows who it is from.
We then all open them on the same day. Presumeably becasue this is a SS that would be Xmas day! For those who have not done this before, we all had great fun with our swap box we did last month, after initial anxiety over what to buy and would the recipient like it: lots of good things were bought and all enjoyed the fun and suprise.
Do folks think spending alittle less this time than the swap box (which was £7), as there is a lot of expenses at xmas, is ok. I don;t want to make it too difficult by making it too low either - ooh, the responsibilty.
