    15. Eat food you really enjoy, just because it's 'healthy' it doesn't have to be dull.

Petrichor Thanks for the welcome, but last time I checked I was definitely not a boy!

..... that came from your "I'm a Joey" answer, and I made the same mistake myself. Bizarrely, last time I wrongly-gendered someone on here, petrichor also made that same mistake with them. I think pet and I have a karmic love thing going on.......

:rotfl: :rotfl: Poor petrichor: (we've had this confusion before joeyem). You were led astray by 'ajax and the joey question' Pet .
Joeyemma: When ajax asked if you were a 'joey or an emma' he mean boy or girl, and you said joey, but you meant you're a girl called joey. Issue now cleared up. Phew :D

.....were ya? Rather you than me.

Nigel Blackwell is the songwriter and frontman for a band called Half Man Half Biscuit. I quote the lyrics cos they give me a chuckle - I spend 95% of the day with one of their tunes going around in my head.

yep, I was in the Oak Road end, and only a little 17 year old :) probably the same weight now though :) Now theres a thought, 22 years later and I am back at my weight when I was in sixth form for the first time :) Now thats something to smile about :)

Ah.... I geddit. I thought you wanted to know if I preferred to be called Joey or Emma, not are you a boy or a girl. I'm slow off the mark at times.

.... it's a shed, not a blimming tardis. Stop piling the pressure on, shed's stressed.

    Ex- SW, Nise? What happened?

Didn't mean to stress the shed .... wouldn't want to stress anybody/thing but you know how it is when you've lost something. I KNOW I put the specs in a safe place... three weeks and a very expensive new pair of glasses later .... actually I don't really care about the shed's stress levels. Why do glasses cost so much? (That was a rhetorical question, don't explain the economics of lens making because I wouldn't understand anyway.)

Ex in the sense of not paying to go to classes Ajax, but still following the plan (thanks to a very generous bloke who sent the booklets). And still enjoying it.

Thanks beanie: if it is any encouragement, I have health issues that limit the general level of exercise I can get, though I do have some better weeks than others, so hopefully know you are a little more mobile with the trike you will see a slow improvement. I feel lucky that SW has totally worked for me - I would never have believed it was possible to get off this much weight.
I know your weight loss if very slow but can't remember - is it still generally going downwards?

I think it's because it takes more energy to keep warm. So soups would be very good: nice and warm and leave the stomach slowly and very healthy if veg based. However I rarely make them so can't help!

I don't think the relatively minor changes in the temperature that we experience make us use that much more energy to keep warm. We put more clothes on and turn up the heating. But I think it's in our minds... mother always told us to have a hot meal in cold weather .... and also because somehow we know that we can more easily hide inside our clothes in the winter! But if anyone's making soup I'll have some please.
