    Back (briefly)

Delighted to report 1.75lb loss this week (in spite of TOTM - amazing!) Thanks for all the support on here when I thought it was going badly. Lesson learnt :o

New winter coat is fab, size 10 and it has a lovely nipped in waist! :D Feels quite glamorous.

So it's all good news here. Good luck everyone who's yet to weigh in this week xxx

Hi everyone, finally back on! Just a real quickie as I should be tucked up in bed, got school tomorrow :D and it's an early start!

Well done to everyone so far, good luck to those yet to go. :T

Just found out my bro will be getting married much sooner - Jan 5th was bandied around this morning!!! but now seems more like Mar/Apr or whenever they can find a venue with a date! (no, my SiL-to-be isn't preggers, although you could be forgiven for thinking so! At least I don't think she is...:D. Think they want to start a family soon though and my bro is still v traditional, bless him).

Any-way, that means I have much less time to look gorgeous so the gloves are off, so to speak! I'm going to need all the help I can so I can feel lovely on the day.

Bed's calling - Victory, want to reply properly to your earlier post so will do tomorrow. Night all and fingers crossed for the morning x

well done the dragon and missgy:j :j :j I bet you look fab in your size 10 coat;) :D

x-raphael I guess saying to you that at least some of the weeks you are loosing will not help, I am not sure what else to say apart from very well done for loosing, that takes dedication, motivation and determination and you obviously have that in abundance and should be proud of yourself, when it does not come off so quick as you would expect you have to remember how very well you have done that you have lost weight before, know how to do it and can and will do it again;)

bails we are right here with you, you can do it xxx

Suggs, glad you enjoyed your evening out at the Commitments, how come front row is never "all that's left" at the concerts I want to go to :D

Well I was just lucky I guess, 2 pairs of seats left, one at the back and one at the very front row AA, from what they said the Front two rows tend to get released in the last week or so. For once my ex messing me around may have done some good :)

    Morning all!

That's great Georgiebrown, sounds like a plan! Good luck with the wi tomorrow.

Well done Missyg! Relaxation class was wonderful thanks, and having a good week except for the Dementor :D

Raphael, I can only echo Victory's great advice - keep believing in yourself and you will turn it around again. You have done so well, and sometimes it is just two steps forward and one step back, but that is still forward. I have been on that rollercoaster for a very long time, but with much less impressive results than you. Keep smiling and it will come!

Well, weigh in this morning and...I think this may deserve a drum roll :o... I've lost 4.5 pounds this week!! :D:j:D:j I am absolutely over the moon as you can imagine; it's been a long time coming (and it's also TOTM!).

The trousers I bought for work last week are already looser too :T

Good luck to anyone else still to weigh. 'Hey, ho, it's off to work I go...' :D (the grin on this smiley isn't big enough!)

Edit: well done Grannynise too, you just got in there before me!

  • wow, 2 losers of 4.5! thats muy impressive. And the rest of you losers too, well done!

I have a gain of 0.2kg to report which could have been worse. Am trying to be better. Raphael, I know how you feel - i lose, gain maintain and it swings wildly all over the damn place. The stupid thing is that if I i put my mind to it, I know I can shift the weight - I just need to put my mind to it. I find that I can be good all week then at weekends I go to pot - and then i just really go for it, thinking, if I've blown it, I may as well REALLY blow it. Which is stupid and pointless and self destructive. I am a real foodie though and cooking and feeding people has always been a big part of my life. I find it really hard to not do that, and the healthy substitutions only go so far towards fulfilling that need. Some days I tell myself that i really do want to lose the weight, and thats more important than the food, other days I just want to enjoy eating and not think about whether it's good or bad. I can't seem to find a happy medium between the two points. I've always been a bit of a compulsive eater, and always used food as a reward so trying to balance all these things together is proving very challenging and I find it easy to give myself reasons to give up. On the plus side, I know my body shape has changed since doing SW as my clothes fit differently.

Sorry for the long ramble, not sure what anyone can do to be constructive but needed to get it off my chest a bit i think ( and my stomach, and my thighs . . . )
