Happy Monday people
Not a huge amount to report on , payday has been and gone and once the gym and the car payment leave my account I'll have clear vision on what is left for the rest of the month
I have some holiday plans , NM has been asked to work at an event in Italy similar to the one I usually do in Greece for a week. There will be people I know there so I'm going to go along and hopefully have the best of both worlds , where I can enjoy the events but also get some Chill time
He won't be working the entire week so we will get some "our" time
As he is technically staff I get a cheaper holiday then general public
There is also an instalment plan in place for payments.
Am just waiting on the go ahead from him to hit the book button , why are men rubbish when you need to get hold of them !!
Gym after work tonight , I went to a party on sat night and saw alot of people I don't see often , many commented on how well I am looking so that with the fact I now have a bikini body to work on For June0 -
Didn't make the gym last night so I got myself in there at 6am this morning instead , I much prefer the morning sessions but where I have been spending so much time at NM's place , its not always pratical to get there
A good session this morning and it gets your metabolism working - My middle age waist line is becoming so close to where I want to be but it seems to be taking some budging
I am sure my body has got used to what I put it through so I need to switch things up , NM has suggested a month of clean diet and no alcohol to help things along
My diet is generally very good , I keep carbs to a min , avoid bread , pasta , rice and spuds , have yoghurt and fruit each morning and some kind of salad for lunch so its not food thats the problem - its abstaining from the grape juice ! We have a few social events this month and a weekend away at the end of the month so maybe March would be an oppurtunity to try this.
The monthly budget is looking quite healthy but I do have a few outgoings coming up , My girls weekend in May , a payment for Italy holiday and the flight , I'm hopeful that i will still have excess cash come next payday
I ended up with £55 still in my account this payday which I transferred over to my savings
This reminds me , NM needs to transfer £37 to me - he bought a round on saturday night and his card wouldn't work so we used mine instead , he keeps saying he must transfer it so he hasn't forgotten but I may have to give him a prompt next time and tell him to get it done then !!0 -
I'm struggling today , I feel despondant and emotional and very intolerant and I don't understand why. Usually this means I am getting ill but hopefully its a little hormone inbalance somewhere and normal circumstances will be resumed.
Had to get pictures done for an upcoming weekender yesterday so that was a £5.00 spend
I've remembered my card reader to make my holiday installment transfer too
I'm trying very hard to resist buying a new pair of trainers in the office sale , I love trainers - I don't need them but I do like to coordinate them with what I am wearing.
My daughter bought me some lounge wear/tracksuits for my birthday which would go great with plain white trainers , except I don't have any !!
I would order from my chinese site but with corona virus nothing is shipping
My card is in the car so I can't buy ,I wanted them for a weekend away at the end of the month so I keep telling myself that if there is money left at the end of the month then maybe I can have a pair
In other news , amongst the current madness where I seem to be doing a lot of running around for other people I have to try and make time to take my mum to the hospital where my aunt has been admitted with lung problems , its not too far but its in to london so traffic is usually a struggle0 -
Happy Tuesday people , its been a few days since I last logged any details
Another busy weekend , Dinner out and clubbing on Friday ( free entry for NM and I since it was my birthday the previous week ) , An overnight stop in Berkshire and a party on Saturday and friend visiting on Sunday - Shared costs with NM who does insist on bearing the brunt , £35 total spend which considering we didn't eat in until Sunday evening and consumed alcohol wasn't too bad
Happy with that
Wanted to get some cheap football tickets this weekend but typically I've left it too late and there is one lonely seat so that idea was short lived.
Trainers which I ordered from ebay and are replica arrived and they are awful !! Look so much like copies its ridiculous which is annoying since the ones from my chinese site are great but obviously unobtainable at the moment
Its too much aggro to return so I am going to gift them to a homeless charity my friend helps out with , she is an inspiration as she is on a very low budget but campaigns for assistance and goes out delivering in the cold etc so I thought this was a good place. She says there is a massive shortage of footwear donations.
Its a little karma to me for not witholding from the purchase but I can redeem this by the feeling of doing some good with my misdemanour
Its my sons birthday this week , he had a joint xmas/b'day so no gifts from me but have sent for my mum via my work courier , saves her going out in this horrendous weather and also saves her the cost of the send

good morning - Another hetic weekend , NM has a huge network of friends and there always seems to be somewhere to go , my body is crying out for a weekend of PJ's and films !!
Was taken out for dinner on Friday night and arrived at his to a lovely bunch of flowers and a bottle of champers on ice , Saturday I picked someone up from the airport and took them home ( near NM's house) in return for £60 which was a big help through the weekend
Saturday night , we went to the pub to see some people and then on to a birthday party before an invite back to some other friends to continue the celebration and finally yesterday dinner at a friend of his
I just want to relax this weekend!
Was also handed a set of house keys so I guess thats a bit of a promotion
Money wise , its getting tight until the end of the month but as long as I am sensible we should get to pay day in the black , maybe have a little left over to put in to my savings but it will be a little !!

All sounding good Efes. Getting to the end of the month in the black is always good.
I don't think you've mentioned the debt totals much lately but I hope they're going down nicely?
