  • well just as you think you have your finances lined up how you want them be - BAM The car service which you have catered for grows legs with new brake pads all round and 2 new rear tyres and little change from £450.00

I used the plastic , but will be pushing the excess amount over to the new BT card as I refuse to stress and that has 28 months

Sister is now fine , seems lots of the issue was insecurity in her relationship and instead of being a grown up about it she has amplified it with excess alcohol , deprived sleep and not enough food !!

No gym this weekend as I had such a wicked hangover after a night at NM friends that I couldn't raise my head until well in to the afternoon yesterday but I hope to go after work today
  • January really is a month of mondays and we shall never be friends

With the car service be additional to what I thought and some stragglers from Xmas I am going to be increasing my debt however I have 28 months on this and after doing some soul searching transferring it over will mean I am starting the new year with a proper budget structure in place. its 0% so no interest so I guess I am justifying this by reasoning that it gives me the best chance of success in the long term

I really do seem to be taking 3 steps forward and 2 back but I guess that is life , there are no overseas holiday plans for the year and that in itself is unheard of so maybe I'm not so far off the right track !!

went to the gym Monday night , its fair to say all the newbies are getting on my last nerve ..............Over 200 in when prior to xmas it was around 50 - 60
Can't book a class , all fully booked
Can't get on any cardio equipment and long waits for resistance machines
I am going to have to rethink my gym schedule until some get bored and drop off

A spend today on my Pro Bio 7 however on special at H&B and had an additional 15% off discount code and quidco so made it as MSE friendly as possible

Dinner this evening straight from work , well curry with my best mate but we will use either tastecard or meerkat so again save where we can
After that I'm home and straight to bed to try and raise my head early doors tomorrow and get to the gym - I can see how many people are in there at any given time and the newbies certainly don't appear to be early movers
  • So its been a few days , £15.00 including tip on a taste card curry with my friend and then the following morning I managed to rise early and get in the gym for 6am
Not an appealing time to go but much better for getting the circuits in.

Went over to NM on Friday , we had our first words regarding posts on social media which I felt were passive aggressive and sending the wrong message to everyone about a certain situation. A situation he claims not to encourage but what I saw educated me differently
Managed to get my point across , although I fully understood why he had done it , I basically told him I couldn't have his back with it as I felt it was wrong to do - he offered to remove what had upset me which I said wasn't required , I just needed to tell him how I felt but he did anyway.
It wasn't an argument and I was glad we managed to resolve without too much conflict

Saturday I came home to sort my room at home which has been neglected I am spending so much time away and then back over to NM.
We went out for some dinner and then spent the evening visiting friends who had suffered a recent bereavement - NM bought dinner and I bought flowers for our hostess and a bottle to take so not a bad outlay for a saturday night.

Yesterday market and warehouse shopping - I did buy a CD for the car but it was a 5 cd mix for a tenner and had some bangers so why not

pay day is 11 days away and current state of affairs is not looking too terrible.
I'm pretty sure its a year anniversary since I last smoked , a year of vaping ! It is much cheaper but also much more habitable so my next step is to stop vaping, next payday its my intention to get a box of low dose patches and hopefully that will break the inhalation habit

Gym after work tonight and then kick back with my feet up
  • so its now 8 days until payday

Nail appointment tonight , I get them done with a friends daughter so its just £12 for gels rather than £20+ in the local salon

Other then that and fuel there is no great expense planned but its at this time of the month that I tend to lose my focus so trying to avoid online shopping although I do confess to booking a little mini break next month - its another music thing at countries leading holiday park and NM is going with the boys and encouraged me to get the girls together to go ..................I took the bait but I've never been before and have several friends going and had willing travel companions so before I know it we are booking half board
Its done now but on reflection I should have told him to pay if he wanted me to go that badly !!
Still its paid and I've rode the 7 week month quite well so lets live a little and gain some experiences
I will be tapping NM up for drinks to keep the spending down !!

Balance transfer to 0% has been set up and so has the direct debit - I have worked out the monthly payments in order to clear by the end of the period and have snapped the card so the only details I have are my login details

Despite my little rendevouz booked I am feeling really focused about getting this clear and my budget plans for the year

My sons 21st birthday present last year is coming up on BNPL and I also have the payment for this so its coming down and its going to stay down !!

Gym session both monday and last night , last night was much less busy so I think the packed house is a monday thing , shall avoid mondays going forward

Tomorrow I have the hygienist at the dentist - hate hate hate this - I know my gums are in terrible condition following years of smoking so I have to face it and try and get them as healthy as possible , I just dont want to hear about the damage of losing my teeth early , I just for now want to be told what I need to do in order to try and stabilise things
  • Survived the hygienist and also was brave and rebooked - figured my teeth are more important then my waxing or nails ??

Dinner out last night with my kids as its my birthday tomorrow and they will both be working
Out for a surprise with new man tonight , I have an inkling where we are going but don't want to spoil his moment so haven't quizzed him too much
  • so today is my day of birth - I've been very spoilt with meals out and a night at the theatre last night aswell as some lovely gifts

£75.00 left in my account until payday on the 31st January which would be the first time for a while I have excess funds , considering last pay day was 24th December I'm more then happy with this and plan to move any surplus in to savings
It just goes to show what happens if I don't tap !!

Feb is a relatively short month , I have my sons birthday but he will get a supermarket delivery as hes struggling on his grant and had a doubly expensive xmas gift on the understanding there would be nothing come his birthday , and my nephews at the end of Feb although I have already got his gift - the replica tracksuit of his football team flown in from china for £28 which would have cost over £80 had I bought the real thing ( which there was absolutely no chance of ever happening )

I'm out to dinner tonight and have had a hetic time recently - tomorrow its gym and staying home , I need some me time and rest and respite

  • thank you , had a lovely day - topped off with steak last night

Today I am having a down day , I'm full of cold and think I have the start of PMT so I'm feeling ultra sensitive and slightly needy

I'm supposed to go to the gym after work and all I really want to do is to go home

Will keep myself dosed up and see how the day pans out
  • So today feels like a waste at work

No internet and flagging systems means its taken forever to achieve the smallest of tasks

Was in they gym at 6 this morning so have managed some positive steps
I stayed home last night so that I could do this , needed to top the fuel up to get there so a £23.60 spend today , £20 on diesel 90p on the car park and the remainder on an egg pot , nuts and banana after the gym as I had built up quite an appetite.

pay day tomorrow - January really is like a month of mondays so I'll be glad to see an influx of funds , its seems so long since my account was fed
