  • Today I have a cold - probably from being stood in the cold scottish air for wedding pictures at the weekend. Still have some lemsip at work so hopefully they will take the edge off of it

Yesterdays spend £2.00 which was for the car park at the hospital for a blood test I keep putting off. I was literally in and out in 2 minutes and the car park wouldnt put up my reg number so I am not sure I had to pay ( think there is a 15 minute grace period) but I paid as didn't want to risk a ticket and the information wasn't clear
Actually make that £2.10 as the guy in front of me at the machine was fumbling around in his pocket and feeding the machine small change only to find out he was 10p short - he looked like he was going to start all over again and use a card so I volunteered the 10p to him as a good deed and also because I was too darn cold to stand around for any longer.

When I got home last night mum had put the tree up - a reminder that xmas is looming and I need to get my finger out
I plan to spend tomorrow evening shopping online and then do a little shopping over the weekend.

Last night I went over to see NM and we spent the evening watching the prince andrew/Virginia panorama , very very interesting and not sure how he can claim to have no recollections of certain events however thats not for me to decide but hopefully someone one day will get the oppurtunity too. His position shouldn't mean he evades investigation and consequences.

Tonight I'm off to the gym , I will be keeping it short and sweet as I'm so snotty but hopefully I'll burn it out of me
  • Yesterdays spend 90p in the car park for the gym and £17.00 in B&M on toiletres and gift bags/wrapping paper

Wow its smelly in that shop

The money for the laptop is now in my account , this is already designated to other repayments so will allocate that shortly

Gym membership has risen £2 - Slightly miffed that I wasn't advised but oh well , still much cheaper then local leisure centre with 24 hour access

Night off from Newman tonight - we are out over the weekend which I am looking forward too and also planning to hit the gym

    Hi Moneyfordreams
Thank you for taking the time to read and to comment on my journey
It helps to log my journey and whenever I feel down , I may flick back to this time a year ago and realise the progress I've made

Holidays are my weakness - I have one in the calender for new year and then a blank canvas which is unheard off but I've promised myself save then book rather then book then save

Pidge , lovely to see you on here
I've been looking out for you so hopefully on your pop in you have an update for me to read
  • so yesterdays spend £5.75 for a roll of wrapping paper and a birthday card for NM - Wasn't sure whether to take the lovey dove approach or the jokey one so went for something in between
Spent the evening visiting my mate who relocated but is back to visit and then in to bed - feel quite shattered

The scales tell me today that I have gained 1.8lb , I wasn't overly impressed with this however mother nature has visited for the month so I'm now not too upset.
I really would love to get to below 11stone before Xmas and then hopefully just not gain but I don't know how acheivable this is
NM is taking me in to the gym for a session on Sunday so I am sure that is going to help.

Saw the drs this week , had to have a scan a little while ago as my periods were getting so painful , turns out to be endimostris or however its spelt - solution , hormone pills or a camera in the belly
I reinstated the pill several months ago and they have been much better since and effectively the hormone tablets are the same so I am going to stick with it for a few months and if its gets any worse or doesnt stay controlled then potentially have the camera
He also gave me something to get my stomach functioning again - to his word " we need to retrain my bowels!"
Haven't picked the script up yet as I'd really like a No spend day and I detest having to pay for perscriptions

    Happy Monday people

From here on in , operation "festivities are approaching" is in full swing.
I really need to get my bum in gear and finish my daughters presents off.
Got my mum wrapping for me which is great as I detest that job.

Had a lovely weekend - Spent Friday eve over at new mans with a takeaway , wine and DVD
Got the prang on my car fixed on Saturday morning - no charge from my garage for this which was fantastic news and im very grateful for it.
I usually get gifted various bottles at xmas from work so I may pass one on to the garage as they always look after me

Saturday night , out to watch the Joshua fight and then on to a club to watch an old soul band do a personal appearance and bump in to some friends , its becoming more common knowledge that new man and I are involved with each other - Funny old world really but people do like to talk. My biggest satisfaction was the amount of women complimenting him on his shirt , which was the one that I picked out for him to wear !! Its fair to say I am allowed to dress him from now on.
Yesterday we did some shopping and then met my daughter and her boyfriend for a coffee in the local pub , first meet so it will be interested to get the feedback

Today I will finish work early and we are off to the football , its his birthday treat ( birthday being tomorrow)
I have bought him a few bits but had no idea what to get so I hope its ok - he is quite possibly the most difficult person I have ever bought for in the sense that he has everything he wants or needs !!
Its all been chosen with Love so hopefully thats enough !!

Considering it was such a busy weekend I managed to get away with relatively low spends off about £35.00 which was my contribution to foods and drinks

After my obligations and fuel this month I am left with about £200 to tide me through to next pay day , we always get paid on xmas eve but I really don't want to start on the following months salary until when it should have been payday
  • so yesterday my daughter exchanged on her flat and should pick up her keys just before Xmas. exciting times

Took NM to the football last night , sadly "we" didnt win. This morning I gave him his gifts which he was very grateful for and they seemed to have gone down well - particulary the retro top which was difficult to find !!

Won't see him now until Friday as he is looking after an elderly relative - this always concerns me , more because of my history in relationships then anything he has done so I need to deal with this and not pass my anxiousness on to him

This will give me a chance to crack on with the xmas shopping and get myself organised , I can't believe its only 2 weeks away.

spends at the football , £5 transport and £15.00 for two hotdogs and drinks ! ( daylight robbery)
  • Where is december going!!!!

Managing to keep spends minimal despite the festive season ( maybe I'm more of a scrooge)
Not sure how the weekend will pan out spend wise - going to see a friend perform in a local pub on Friday and in to town on saturday for another music event - am considering travelling with my hip flask for these occassions and to keep costs down

Went to the gym last night and will go again early tomorrow morning as otherwise won't get time - weighed in and I'm 2lb heavier.
Not overly concerned about this as know my visits have become fewer , that I have consumed more wine the last couple of weeks , my diet was off plan over the weekend and I also had my lady visitor however must find the motivation as would like to get to the new year within reach of my target
NM says my body is no longer shocked by the changes etc so I need to change my work out slightly , he may have a point.

Tonight I need some wrapping paper and a poisentta for my mum if possible and I'm popping in to see my best mate for a cuppa before heading home.

One more payment due out this month and then its count down to payday which I believe is xmas eve instead of new year due to good will at work however my mission is to get to the 31st before "needing" to draw on the months salary
I'd prefer to be paid on time rather then early but off course payroll prob dont want to work over xmas either
