Hi ES , glad you had a nice weekend , on the laundry front , do you have a dehumidifier,  I find this makes a huge difference to how quickly heavier things dry . Would swapping to a liquid detergent help then if your only doing a small wash you could adjust accordingly.  Hopefully MC is making progress behind the scenes . I was thinking the money might be for a flat deposit but probably he would have mentioned that . Take care xx

I do have a dehumidifer and have used it for this purpose before so maybe time to re instate it.

I use tabs as I usually buy them when they are on special - I think I am just putting too small a wash on , will have to adjust and see if it makes a difference to my energy bills too. Makes more sense to let it mount up a bit but i do like an empty basket !!!!

I think there is more chance of a lottery win then the money being for a flat deposit - I don't actually think anything has changed /progressed

It's your relationship @efes_shareholder and please tell me to mind my own business.  Do you think NM is hoping you'll change your mind and that the current situation can carry on indefinitely? Humdinger xx

Very similar story here , bit obsessed with not letting laundry pile up and have wondered at the extra costs , you've given me the kick to stop putting washing machine on unnecessary,  even more important as now using dehumidifier as well . Hopefully with MC he is sorting tax with a view to his future plans xx

He hasn't expressed that but it could be the case , I won't be changing my mind. NM Ex wife still resides in the marital home which he pays the mortgage on ( although its pence now , wish mine was !!) so the MC will not be homeless and can go to his own mumsy however he will be in london and he wont find parking his vehicle so close to the property easy.

Its funny as last week when we were away at my dads I was very relaxed and only became moody when we got home and I saw toilet rolls had been left empty when used , washing up stacked up instead of put away , washing done last minute so all racks were taken and man hair all round the plug hole of the shower and had a reality check.

I used the words "back to reality" as I kopped the hump.

We have been away this weekend and again I've been really chill , in fact NM said to me " you are really chilled out when we are away , you dont get triggered like you do at home"

Well there is a clue there ......................he can hope I may change my mind but I'm 99.99% certain that I won't be doing so and if I did I dont think NM would welcome the mood swings !!!!!!!!

it was only the realisation that I had gone through a xl bag of pods in record time that made me look at it - I am sure I only used to do 2-3 washes a week and now its 4-5 and I don't do MC's

I've finished cleaning all my floors and I've put the clothes rack upstairs in the spare room with the dehumidifer as it also makes my kitchen look tidier !!! I think it may stay locked in there out of sight for the winter
