  • @efes_shareholder may i ask, MC is moving out, isn't he? Love Humdinger xx
Hi Humdinger - I have told him that this situation was only supposed to be short term as that is what worked for me , I said we were now heading in to long term which does not work for me and the expectation is that he will be somewhere else come the end of November as he can't remain here so YES he will be moving out

I don't think he likes it and I think he will try and become super helpful etc to sway my influence but I want my house back !!
  • so the weekend was actually very very nice

NM and I sat in the garden friday evening until the early hours , MC vacated by around 7.30 after being asked to make 15 minutes available for a conversation

Saturday NM and I got up and went to the gym , came home had some brunch and then headed off to the football. The traffic was terrible so we pulled in to an earlier tube station to spend time on the train getting to our destination rather then in a jam , so £7.00 spend there for parking.
We arrived and went straight in the stadium and had  couple of beers there , unfortunately it wasnt the result NM wanted but thats been the case most games this season.
We left 10 minutes early as we had booked a booth at the interactive darts in a local bar for after them game , I paid the £10 each however NM bought the two rounds of drinks so that evened things up.
We grabbed a kebab on the way home and promptly fell asleep on the sofa where we stayed all night.

My middle sprog stayed but was chatty and departed for bed around 10.30 which is when we fell asleep!!

Yesterday I did a £45 shop in tesco for sunday dinner ( including wine , dessert and snacks for the GS) , it was lovely to have my grandson who is now toddling and starting to chat  - I dont see as much of him as i would like and did indulge him with a new toy but thats what nannys do

MC came back briefly yesterday having left the GWG somewhere in london and collected his work van so I think he drove GWG back to the coast and went to work from there....................hopefully thats a trial run to see if he can handle a long distant commute

I'm glad you had a nice weekend and got to see and spoil your GS. Yes - that's what nanny's are for!😀

Hopefully MC is getting himself in gear this week into looking for a place of his own. 🤞

It was lovely but I need to spend more time with him as at times he was a bit wary with me

As for the MC , what he does from here on is on him ..................he knows the expectation and thats all I need to focus on
  • couple of days and i shall be flying off to visit my dad , not overly excited - it feels more of a chore then it should but a few days sun and san miguels will hopefully put me in a brighter mood.

money is ok - I have a big c/c bill to pay on payday as it includes some flights but the money is in my savings , it just hurts when it leaves. I overpaid the energy bill slightly as now its darker they are rising slightly but hopefully with time away over the coming months it will even itself out.

Need to look at putting my 0% card on to another provider , I thought the interest was up but not as yet according to the statement , looks like a lot of providers are giving longer terms now so this is the one I shall least focus on clearing. The next account which gets hit in the sales is the one I really need to look at getting gone

Door company are coming today to take a look at the handle , it seems have gotten slack. I think it was middle child fighting with it ( its a simple opening mechanism ) when she couldnt get in the house and got stressed but I won't mention that part.)

Haven't seen much of MC at all this week , he seems to be coming in late , eating , going to bed and leaving early for work - this suits me perfectly. Potentially this could be to try and slip under the like I may forget he is here or maybe thats just me being cynical.
He asked NM for more money from his IHT to pay court applications and accountants - IMHO this shouldn't be needed as he earns 1.2k a week ( for reference to you all , I take £50 , which was on the understanding it was so he would move on) but I need to let go off all that stuff , NM will see it if he wants too in his own time but he is getting played like a fiddle. I need to continue to focus on he knows what is expected , when he is expected to be gone and what he does about that is his concern not mine.
  • Hope the visit to your dad goes well and door gets mended . Be nice to have a change of scenery x

back from a few days relaxing in espana - back to reality , its not fun !!!!! Couple of things triggered me in to a bad mood on return , 2 empty toilet roll holders when you have spanish tummy , dryer racks full of wet washing which there have been 5 days for you to do and a dirty bath where its not been washed out !!

Deep breaths and hopefully a nice chill weekend just NM and I

Door company came , they are replacing the handle , they also noticed scratches in the window frame too so those are being replaced.too. pretty good customer service when i didn;t see it.

Its my cousins 60th this evening but its a good hour drive away and hes quite a distant cousin - i don't think i can be bothered to go but feel bad for that.

pay day has been and gone , i have covered flights from my salary and will dip in to savings if it looks shaky - I think it may , I'm not sure if there will be more month then money especially since we have a boiler service tomorrow.

got let down by the guy servicing the boiler , not overly worried as will get it booked in

Have invested in a ninja juicer , i love a ninja and we do make tumeric shots at home but they are often cloggy , have made a batch of lovely watery shots and also an anti inflammatory juice which is said to reduce bloating and inflammation and a beetroot based one which is said to assist the liver.

Figured I tried everything else for my stomach so may aswell give these a shot !!

did mean a bit shop to Aldi for lots of fruit and veg to juice !!!!!!!

Saw GS for a few hours yesterday and bought some local honey at a small street market.

Today my garden is beseiged with ladybirds......................hundreds of the damm things , keep coming in the house with me in my hair and on my clothese!!

Hi ES , I've just read an article about the ladybird invasion . Very interested with regards to your juices and if they benefit your health , are there many ingredients in the anti inflammatory juice ? X
