Good!  People kept (and tbh still do) to listen to my body, just don't rush stuff.
    Thank you
    I’m really trying
I’ve just never been a great patient
  • Still plodding along.
My belly is still very tender and swollen , surprising me since its nearly 5 weeks since the op  I feel ok but get tired quickly and am aware of everything re adjusting and some peculiar sensations as nerves etc repair themselves. Fortunately my sickness bug didn't last but today I have issues the opposite end , not sure if its something I ate or a reaction to antibiotics which I am on as a precaution as i had some UTI symptons.

Desperate for a holiday but don't want to over commit particulary since I am on a reduced wage and still waiting on news of the final amount that I can borrow on the house. on the subject of this I am told this figure should be through by the close of play today .........I just want them to make their mind up and stop asking for the same info over and over.
Its basically to do with them not taking all of my bonuses in to consideration and my mortgage advisor going on holiday !!!

holidays I'm pretty set on a week AI in either Cyprus , Rhodes or Kos - I haven't been to any of them but cyprus would be my preference although again it can be expensive.

Not huge movements on money , did the weekly shop £60 and spent virtually the same at my sisters birthday celebration , she had a great time and the mix of people worked very well although my old school friend who rattles on about nothing but doesnt have a bad bone did annoy me but basically chewing my sisters best mates ear off all night even on the dance floor - DOn't think she quite got that the purpose of the evening was to celebrate a milestone birthday and not hear all about her life story , shes a nice lady who doesnt get out much but honestly she can drain your soul.

I'm still so very very bored , I am doing very very  little around the house except fetch my own drinks and snacks and haven't even considered driving yet.
I've managed not to internet shop either

on the debt front , I have just a very small BNPL balance on Very which needs to be gone by December , hopefully this months excess will take care of it. I'm not even counting it as its minimal but I can't classify myself as completely debt free until its all gone.

@efes_shareholder bereavement can slow down recovery.   Understand you're bored but please be kind to yourself.  Are you interested in puzzles or even those colouring in books? I find all quite the distraction.  Keep going you are doing brilliantly.   Looking forward to hearing your next update love Humdinger xx

    Thank you
I don’t think I can possibly rest anymore than I am already doing and I’m so so tender still
    really didn’t expect that
you could be on to something with grief , I’ve felt like I’m on an emotional rollercoaster the last few days and just want to cry
    don’t understand that either

@efes_shareholder it sounds like you are processing grief.  It comes in waves.  Could som therapy be useful? Even a few sessions could be a massive help xx

When can you start HRT? Sudden menopause wreaks havoc on your body and your emotions. Oestrogen does more than you think. Plus the grief. You've got a mountain on your plate. I don't know how you do it.
Did they get back to you on the mortgage? All go through? Hope it's all going smoothly from here. At least you're only doing the buying this time. Selling and buying is such a stress.
You're recovering fine. They do say 6 weeks for it. Have you tried arnica? They recommend that for caseareans I think. Keep doing what you're doing xxxx
    Loan 1 £5200/£8000
    Loan 2 £300/£5800
    Total £5500/£13800

I kept my ovaries so thankfully won't catapult in to menopause but I will be contacting my dr re HRT as it was suggested prior to my op but as there are different kinds they wouldnt start it until after the op.
A nurse suggested Arnica , I've been taking it daily since the operation.

No news on the mortgage , it was expected yesterday. It is I believe just a matter of finalising what they are prepared to lend which I thought had already been done but it seems not
