You are such a busy bee. I don't know how you do it all. How very exciting for you about the mortgage. Just got to wait for it all to go ahead while you're recouperating. Wishing you all the best for a successful surgery and a swift recovery. It isn't going to be a quick recovery but I hope its a painless as possible as quickly as possible. Please please please take it easy. Don't over exert yourself. You have done so well in getting everything done ready in preparation so that you most definitely have breathing space to just rest and recover. xxx

So the operation is done
its so difficult to take things easy when you are used to doing things
I felt they chucked me out of hospital a bit too soon but now I’m home I’m ok
Sister came and sat with me first day and then Nm took the following day off work but as the weekend has passed and I’m a bit more mobile , I’ve sent him back to work.
I just need to learn how to curve the boredom.
the house survey is due to go ahead today , the people I am buying from have now had an offer accepted on a vacant private property so just trying to ascertain if the probate has been granted or just applied for. Hopefully more news on this later but all being well around 8-10 weeks to get things done.
mortgage company have reduced what they will lend as they aren’t taking my bonuses in to account , I am appealing this and although it doesn’t make or break me it does take the comfortability out of things , I think I’m just used to seeing fat balances in my savings and don’t like the prospect of seeing it go but if I want a house it has too xx0 -
I can totally believe that you're bored. You're used to fitting 5 peoples days into your one and now you're having to stop. You have not got long at all until you get you're own place! For wasting time sat on your bum I really like tiktok - it has an algorithm to work out what you want to watch - it's not just teenagers dancing. I watch lots of DIY and home design and politics. I also think pinterest might be a good bet for you to work out what looks you'd like in your new home. You are getting a place that is 100% yours to do as you please with. You can go all in pink frills and doilies - no one can stop you! I cannot imagine that being your taste for one minute though. Another one is reddit. I like reading the 'aita' forum. Knowing you these things will entertain you for maybe an hour. But maybe it'll be a couple of hours each day, who knows?Sorry you're getting mucked about with the mortgage application. I can see things getting stricter all over. You can always apply for extra borrowing after 6 months if it really needs it. At least with the probate ticking over you've got time for the appeals. And I think it'll be easier not having a nice bank balance when you're relaxing in your lovely home.Hope your surgery was keyhole and nice and neat for easier recovery. I have heard of people having rather straightforward ones. And I am so happy that you are on the path to being painfree. xxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

im trying my hardest to just kick back.
I think I’ll probably do some reading and gain lots of ideas for the house so thanks for the tips0 -
im so bored , i sat in the garden and then the storm came.
I've had a full cold ones with a view to then having a nap , I need to go to bed before I get the taste !!
the good thing about being at home is that ive resisted the urge to internet shop and have actually spent very little ..........im very switched on to the more i have in my pot the better
i've got a big general spends c/card account to clear as I insist on paying the insurance on nm's car which I am using, he has bought a new work car so I don't need too and that can't go amidst.
I am also planning a takeaway tonight , he is at work and isnt much of cook and as I can't bend for the oven or get to the shop to pick bits up I'm limited to what i can cook and disorganised so tonight we will have a takeaway which we havent for a while and take the thought out of the process.
the highlight of my week is to have my stitches removed. my sister is taking me and I hope we can pop to a mutual friends of ours or some lunch just for a bit of an escape.
I really dont get how people sit around and do nothing out of choice , its so hard !!

it hurts to cough , I feel like the stitches are ready to come out
the most difficult thing is not over lifting , even a full kettle is considered too heavy0 -
so today i've had my staples out , nurse says I am healing beautifully and shes very very pleased.
Wasnt able to get there without assistance and I thought NM would be working ( his shifts are all over the place at the moment) but last minute he wasn't in until this afternoon. Sister took me , so I treat her for lunch after as a thank you as she wouldn't accept petrol money. £32.50 spend but worth it and would have cost me much more to get there and back without her assistance.
We popped to mums , banked my road tax refund , had lunch and visited a friend.
I'm taking it easy but want to do a few hours a day at work asap. My boss also wants me there however as there is no provison for working from home on my sick cert I need a fit to work letter before I can.
Very very annoying bur procedure I guess.
I am on full sick pay at the moment but not sure how long that lasts for.
House chain now complete and searches underway , deposited £300 on account with the solicitor , hurts to see it go after trying to stash but needs must.0 -
How exciting that the house sale is all going through!
You're trying to do too much! You need two weeks off minimum for a laproscopy! You've had extensive surgery. You wouldn't let a woman who had a c- Section work after 1 week. I know you're bored but your body needs this rest time. Try and take it easy so your body can heal. A stitch in time and all that. XxxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000
