Really good you got out on Sunday, sounds lovelyXX
Once you have been in hospital 24 hours every support service is suspended

mums home
Shes lost more weight , no doubt about it. Shes so pleased to be home and enjoying her home comforts , had a little chat last night.she actually said she didnt think she had much longer. I went to the shop and got her a small bottle of whisky and some coke as she fancied a little tipple and if you can't have it now when will you have it.
Took the plunge and contacted an estranged cousin whose mum is the most vile human on earth , havent spoken to her or my uncle for many years however he is my mums brother and he should know the situation , its then down to him to chose whether he visits or not. Contacting him to tell him there is a funeral seems very harsh just because his wife is absolutely awful and insulting to the whole family. As way of Karma I learnt that his wife had a stroke and can no longer talk and although I don't wish bad on anyone nothing nice ever came out of her mouth so thats karma !
Small spend last night on a small bottle of vodka and some vape fluid £11.98 , today I've woke up thinking vaping is really not doing me any favours and needs to go at some point so I've chucked a patch on and hopefully it will be in room 101 from now on.
The £50 bond win is most welcome , thats £150 in the 3 months I've had the money invested , there is no way I can save it this month but its coming in steadily.2 -

I've kind of adjusted to it now2 -
todays been a challenge
our normal care package hasnt kicked back , we have carers but not our usual ones and mum really doesn't like men washing her or unfamilar people , my sister is working until 3 so i've had a double work load as my boss is off and my mum to look after
Had to stop work several times to wash and dress her , feed her , wash up , put washing on , hanging washing out etc , I'm worn out now and I have to fix up to take my daughter to dinner later.
Spent £4.00 today on a birthday card and wrapping paper as I'd forgotten - bad mother !!
My cousin visited yesterday with her little girl , this perked mum up. My cousin and I fell out many years ago after her mum was appalling after my step dad died , we didnt so much fall out we just didnt keep in contact but it was nice to her and mum appreicated a different face.
I spoke to her dad today , my mums youngest brother who most of the family have turned their back on due to his wife , hes coming to see mum on sunday if he doesn't let her down. My mum has always helped him out and thought alot of him so I hope he doesn't let her down. I'm glad though that I got in contact , it doesn't feel right not letting him come and visit if he wishes too.1 -
Well done on coping with everything. I went through something similar with my dad & it just wrecks you, doesn't it. Hope you had a nice meal with your daughter & your mum has a nice weekend back at home.Starting debt (Aug 2018) £17,900

It certainly makes you wonder why you ever complained about life's trivial things0 -

Weekend was good
Big spend on friday night at the indian for my daughter , I can't take money off them for "birthday meals " and had offers from daughters fiance , younger daughter and NM but maybe its me but feel like its "mums job"
Saturday morning , did a pit stop to NM to do his covid test for the football , all ok. Later that day had a quick lunch stop with my daughter before she went back to suffolk ( I let her treat me in return for fridays dinner)
Sunday , took my nephew and his friend to the football with NM , we went to the cafe first for breakie £21 for the four of us , again I covered this as my idea and my family so its my bill.
The boys had go henry cards for inside the stadium and NM bought the drinks , it was a lovely afternoon and it was a pleasure to take the boys , even if my 12 year old nephew is now the same height and shoe size as NM !!
After we had dropped the kids off he and I went for a lovely meal in the local turkish , both of us were completely shattered when we got home last night.
I'm officially borrowing from myself this month but do intend to keep the spends down wherever I can , socially we have a birthday to attend in a few weeks but other then that its a relatively blank canvas0
