  • Tesco c/card payment has gone , so thats now down to £2100 , I'll be glad to get it under 2k but with paying my car insurance all up front I'm not sure I'll manage it this month , will see how it pans out.
I've also sent an email along with supporting correspondence to the private hospital as they have sent me an invoice for £110 for the 3 minutes it took to get my ct results -   I was never advised that there was a charge for this and it wasn't included in the procedure only that they dont send the results to the GP so I've challenged paying it. If I have too I will but I'm not overly happy about it.
Today I have to pick up some new medication for mum , its a beautiful day so I may just go for a little drive with the roof down. also going to get some nytol as my body is tired come bedtime but my mind is not and im finding it hard to shut down in this little heat wave.
My favorite trainer brand has sent me a link to their 50% off sale , I'm not looking .........................
  • Just checked my prem bonds
my big investment doesn't go live until next month but I've 2 x £25 prizes on my original holding this month so I'm more then happy with that..............maybe I can get that tesco bill under 2k

Today has not been so great so far.
Work has been pretty full on and I've had to opt our for an hour as the care assessment team arrived and then mum had a fall , an accident and a sickness attack all within about half an hour , today it feels relentless
My supervisor is off next week so my work load will tripple , I'm dreading it -  there will be no lunch breaks and the computer will be on at 7am and off at 7pm if past experiences are anything to go by.
My son is visiting tomorrow , shows the difference between mine and the siblings children that my son will pay £90 and travel 3 hours to see his nan for a few hours but my neices can't travel 5 minutes.
As much as working from home has been a saviour under the circumstances , I'm missing getting out of the house and human interaction. I'm missing the freedom that really brings and I'm frustrated that my immediate family do not understand this !!!!!
On a plus , there have been no spends today , I'm waiting for my car insurance payment to go out and my life insurance and then I'll have a good clear forecast for the remainder of the month. I'm attending a bbq tomorrow so will need to take some drink and something to throw on the coals and nm is taking me for dinner on sunday. I am getting tomorrow night away but will have to come home during the day so she can go home and do some family chores etc, she said otherwise she wont be home for 48 hours .....................never mind I've been house prisoner for over 100 !!

well , its nearly time to go home for the next 6 days , had a lovely day with friends on saturday , albeit a slightly heavy on the gin one but well needed to just forget about life for a while.
Sunday I needed to go home between 12 and 4 , mum seemed very weak and frail and very wobbly , was a bit concerned for further falls. Also another accident and sickness to deal with , I'm sure she saves it for when I'm home.
I've decided that once this is all over and its safe to do so I will be going on holiday , I don't care who with and I don't care where I go , I just want to laze by a pool sipping mojitos and doing nothing.
Weekend spends £20 on drink and bbq and £10 on a spoons lunch yesterday , we also went for dinner last night NM paid. Bit annoyed that despite freezing my gym membership I've been charged a full month , I don't have the time to get back in there at the moment so won't be going for the foreseeable , inclined to cancel as i have no idea when time will allow me to return.

Woke up at 5.30 this morning , dont know if its the light mornings or another unwelcome side effect to the menopause but I've cleaned the hob and oven , had 3 cups of tea , done mine and mums medication , cleaned the commode and emptied the fridge of any out of date food in anticipation of the home delivery later.
Determined to start to have better days , Need to really focus on driving the debts down and increasing my savings as much as possible for the future.
    Current debt level
    Tesco 0% card £2100
    Car loan £1250.
They aren't too terrible , certainly coming down on target , Comfort is that I can now pay them off at any time however after investigation there is little benefit as APR very low on car and c/card 0%.
Savings and house deposit are sitting very comfortable but there is always room for improvement and the more I can get in to this the better
Currently sitting at £135563.38 but every penny will be needed , hoping I can this rounded up to £136k before long.Property increases are starting to be a bit of a concern , why was I born in such an expensive area !!!!

Wow, you have been busy! I seem to be awake at 1.30/2 ish, but then don’t want to wake up for work.
property seems to be increasing everywhere except were I am. Eventually I want to move home and the mismatch is terrible, so I share your worry.

I really hope that once the stamp duty holiday ends they start to decrease a bit , I don't know if things are just being listed with unrealistic expectations and then down valued when mortgages are applied for or they are actually selling at these prices ,  when my house was up for sale , there were some very cheeky low offers.

please can today be over ...............my mind is scrambled covering my supervisor workload which I'm really not overly familar with and I'm just staring at my inbox blankly at this stage not knowing where to start so I'm just going to try and have an early night and pick it up on a fresh mind tomorrow , theres an element of sarcasm and an element of optomism in that statement.
Mums sickness is no better , macmillan are adjusting her script and she literally has no strength left in her body and is finding it increasingly difficult to get herself up and down despite the gadgets we have been given. I don't know if this is because she is having trouble keeping any food down or part of her condition but the district nurse came in earlier and is arranging some juice type supplement drinks rather then the gloopy milky things we have at the moment.
I feel drained and I feel beaten , its my siblings birthday today and she has a day off and for as much as I said I would try not to complain , whilst I've been dealing with a triple work load , shopping deliveries , district nurse visits , assisting on and off the commode , making snacks , emptying sick bowls , she has popped in for an hour this morning and spent the rest of the day doing whatever she pleases .................had the cheek to invite me to the pub tonight , I'm not going , I can't be around them
On the plus side I've moved my holiday refund and my £50 bonds win in to my savings rather then letting it sit it my current account where it is open prey.
Theres a bottle of red and a Nytol with my name on it tonight.
