Yay! waving pom-poms on the team ccl sideline! Payday on Friday and I have £7.70 in my purse as my budget until then. We can do this ccl.
I keep wiping the stair handrails and doorknobs. I am still traumatized by the one and only whole house norovirus incident about 8 yearf ago. If 2 minutes with soap and a cleaning rag can save us, then 2 minutes it is!
Hope dd decides to be helpful.
It is December on Sunday! Help! I don't have a single candy cane to even stick in an advent calendar or anything.

Me.
I have done nothing for Christmas at all, other than coo at the odd Christmas ad and flick through the glossy 'food to order' catalogues whilst waiting to check out at the supermarket.
And yet, it will 'come all the same' - so I should really do something.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

I am feeling the pressure at the school gates - they are all chatting away about how they are 'ready'. I am not going to be ready. I am going to be delightfully haphazard, and endearingly impromptu. Possibly engagingly spontaneous :rotfl:

All clear here apart from complete exhaustion. I'm not going to do a proper catch up - mainly because there's nothing to say but also because I'm very tired indeed and can't wait to get into bed tonight. Not giving up

Hello
Well thank goodness that the weekend has come around again because I am beyond exhausted. I confidently predict that I will be asleep before 9 tonight - it's been a very long week and there are still three weeks of school to go
It's been busy and hectic at school, and busy and hectic at home. There's a few bits to share.
DS got the first part of his Christmas present last night - we went straight from school to Newcastle to see RuPaul's Drag Race UK tour. It was opening night of the tour and we had the most amazing night - we were lucky enough to meet all of the Queens and have some photos taken with them. They were all lovely, and really nice to ds, and kept thanking me for allowing him to come along to the show, which I thought was very sweet of them. DS and I have really enjoyed the show on TV but I am surprised at how many narrow minded people there are out there - ds knows that people are just people and if these men want to dress as women then that's fine. He even got Vivienne to do her Donald Trump impression just for him, and did 'Much Betta' with Baga for ages. Only trouble is that by the time we got in at 1130 last night - we'd been out of the house for 16 hours and were absolutely shattered. It was worth it though for such a good time.
Anyway, there is news on the ex which I can talk about now. At the last court date in October I managed to get a court order that the DWP needed to release ex's address so that we could serve papers. The address came through to my solicitor and the £84 I was looking for was to pay the process server to serve the papers. I have the email now saying that it's been done - he has had the papers hand delivered :j At least I can prove that he knows about the dates and what he needs to do. If he still chooses not to go to court then the judge will know that I've tried my best to get him to engage. If he does then hopefully we can get it sorted for definite. One way or another it's moved forward a bit and I'm no longer stuck in limbo waiting around - it's cost a blimming fortune though and I will be reminding the courts of that whatever he does or doesn't do. Hopefully the end is now in sight - albeit a long way in the distance. Not giving up

I'm very jealous that you & DS went to the Ru Paul show! I love watching it on tv & have been impressed with the UK series.
I'd say you've got a certified serious high note to finish the week on with the process server news :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T well done for going for and getting the order for the ex's address.
after all that and everything else you've had you are most definitely allowed as earlier night as you like. btw how did DD doing dinner go?- Mortgage: 1st one down, 2nd also busted

I got cheese and onion quiche which was lovely.
And as she has had a third day off today - her school is still closed due to the norovirus outbreak (mine is still not) - she made chicken burgers in buns for tea.
Now just to train her to clean up after the cats :rotfl:Not giving up

Great news about the process server...it's good to be able to prove to a court that you have done everything you possibly can.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.
