Just a few more notes;
You can also ring CPW on 0845-655400, which could save a lot of money on the long calls we are all making to them at the moment!
'odowdchr', please be careful and double check with OSPS that you can print off your online bill and send it to them because I was told they will not accept internet printed copied of a bill because they can be tampered with before printing.
£10 cash back.... they are waiting for more cheques to come in, then these will be sent out accordingly...(hmmm!)Sexkitten
Good things come to those who wait......... but the best will be taken by those who got there first

Waiting for more cheques to come in?
Sounds very dodgy to me, who's doing the print for them? (!) 0 -
charlotte3 on two occassions i asked cpw staff
they said that yes i can AFTER the 6 month period. i am going into cpw shop thurs to sort out my itemised billing. the shops can deal with accounts now !!!
hey i gave a 0800 number which is FREE and you gave a 0845 (local) lol
also why give a printer version when you can simply send in the top sheets of your bills?0 -
mbailey wrote:I ordered 2 K750i phones last week on the 8 month cashback deal. One phone arrived on Friday and the paperworks states 8 months. Nothing mentioned about the £10 cashback for internet orders and no car charger, but thats another story!
I phoned OSPS and asked for my second phone I ordered and they just said they have only sent me one. The CS operator said he could put another order through now, but that would be on 6 months @ 2.99! I said I wanted the same deal as the first phone but he said he couldn't do it!
So where do I stand? I ordered 2 phones, but they sent me 1. I ask for the second and they won't honour the same deal! OSPS confirmed they made the mistake and my order did say 2 phones, but they now claim they can't do anything about it! Great!
I phoned OSPS again yesterday (Tuesday) and asked for my second phone which they didn't send me and again they offered to do it on the 6 months 2.99 deal and not the 8 months deal. I refused and asked to speak to a manager and was told to email Andrew Palmer.
I did this yesterday afternoon, but so far no response. Has anyone had a luck getting a response from the Sales Manager?0 -
hi,
if your invoice states x months free and on your receipt they must honour this right? cos i dont want them to worm out later on etc.
also it may be best to go to cpw store to discuss billing account as face to face may be easier.
make sure you cancel insurance / i'billing0 -
Is an invoice or just confirmation of what you ordered? If you've already got the phone and any paperwork with it states you're on x months then they do have to honour this.mak_attack wrote:if your invoice states x months free and on your receipt they must honour this right? cos i dont want them to worm out later on etc...
Eg, If you ordered a phone/contract on Monday on an 8months free offer but come Tuesday the offer changed to 6months free then unless your phone was processed (debit your account, or sent your phone out) before the offer changed then you are stuck on the newer/revised 6months free instead of 8months free. An email confirmation after you order could be considered just confirmation of them receiving your order request and not confirmation that your order has been processed.
If you have email/paperwork or something that clearly indicates they've processed your order (could be an email that says your order has now been sent out, etc) then they would have to honour the offer at the time the email was sent out even if they change this a day later. If, on the other hand, the offer changed prior to them processing your order then I think they don't have to honour the original (what you signed-up for) offer.
I believe the law states that they have to accept (process) your phone/contract then it becomes a legal contract but them (OSPS) just acknowledging they've received your request for such an offer does not mean you will get this!
Does this make sense?0 -

Thanks Mak_Attack. I feel a little more confident if from what you say they have confirmed this twice with you.
Well done on finding the 0800 number by the way. The post wasn't there when I added the 0845 number (that'll teach me for getting distracted while posting a reply!)
I believe that once you set up online billing, they do not send out copies of your bills anymore. So you would need to print out your own, which OSPS won't accept.Sexkitten
