    - IMPORTANT -

    please all people who took this deal or any new one from OSPS (i think its just voda ?) please please call the billing dept. at cpw (08701 680 870) and find out what the heck is on their account.

    i have been told i dont have 250 free TEXTS even though osps state on site ! so many other problems on account ! my paperwork from osps doesnt mention texts either now looking at it

    the nice lady at cpw is ringing up osps and will infom me on what the heck osps are DOING !

    seems as though information is getting lost somewhere.

    darn it ! why have cpw taken control over the account and not voda direct....takes the ****

    anyways i hope that i have free line rental / texts etc coming up on their system.

    how are others doing who received this offer? all is well? what things should i have cancelled? insurance & itemised billing i have done so far and some support crap will be done on weds.

    Hmm - what is this support option - didn't see anyhting about it.

    Also when we purchased there was no mention of cpw being the service provider - everything said vodafone - another one for trading standards?

    Finally as it is cpw - can anyone confirm that 6m tariff downgrade will not invalidate cashback?!

    i spoke to cpw.......was told we won't invalidate the offer.....can downgrade AFTER 6 months......will request in writing soon as i dont want to annoy them as i did today lol

    cpw said i could speak to branch manager about not being told by OSPS that cpw take over admin billing role....i declined lol

    hi i'm very new to this forum.
    got the offer from osps 8months free. i immediately called carphone warehouse on 02088965000 (ask for voda billing dept) to cancel the itemised billing. asked the lady about 250free txts for 6months she said it was not on my account and that i had to call osps as it was their promotions. so i did. the guy told me this will be sorted shortly as it was due to "their system being ported to cpw". he said if i get charged, a refund will be issued. dunno how long it will take to get sorted but i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

    osps customer service is very very very poor tho!
    but hey the phone i got was a SIM FREE K750i and sealed :T !

    just an addendum to this.....the K750i's were sent out unlocked and 'vanilla', no branding or settings whatsoever ( :j ) , but the package was very sparce with no confirmation of special offers, no billing information, no £10 cashback and no in-car charger etc.... Bit of a minefield when you're not used to how these companies work.

    After blundering around ringing Vodafone for like, half a day, called CPW Vodaphone section (thanks for the number mak_attack), got set up immediately for online billing, checked details, got phone configuration texts sent, activated international roaming etc...very quick, very helpful.
    However, the 250 free texts for 6 months have not been included, was advised to call OSPS who bounced me straight back to CPW because its a 'network' offer, who after trawling round the office say they have no knowledge of these free texts as part of this deal. So i guess nobody has them yet maybe?
    Very helpful guy is investigating but said to ring back in a week...

    (Edit: an addendum to mak_attacks post....wasn't meant to be a duplication ;) )

    The 250 free text seems to be a big problem at the moment with both OSPS and CPW saying the other should be dealing with it.

    I have been on the phone for half an hour, twice to CPW and once to OSPS. I am waiting for a team manager to get back to me and let me know how they plan to resolve it. Although any texts that have already been used should be refunded.

    Mak_Attack, you say you are going to get it in writing from CPW that you can change the tariff after 6 months? Has anybody else asked CPW if we can downgrade after this time? If not then it may be another issue I will bring up with manager when she gets back to me.

    I was also asking about online billing: can I send a printed version to claim my cashback? The answer was yes from CPW and no from OSPS as printed bills can be altered. This seems plausible so I think I will go with that train of thought.

    i also dont have 250 texts on both accounts nor does it mention it on osps invoice. i will wait like you have advised a week odowdchr.

    any other woes or is everything else sorted?
