I'd be inclined to listen to CPW because they're the ones who bill you and add the texts to your account. If they're not showing, its because they didn't receive the full offer details from OSPS .
OSPS can tell you anything they like, but you're not paying your monthly bills to them.

What i've gleaned from this so far is that OSPS should have sent everyone's details across to be added to the CPW billing system, but they didn't include the 250texts so CPW didn't know anything about it. That's why it's been taking 3 weeks to get them added.
CPW have been very consistent and helpful, OSPS have basically told me a different story every time i rang them.
I'd leave it a few days and then check with CPW to see if its on your account now.

ps. OSPS have had the car chargers back in stock since last week. Mine arrived today, the day after the email saying it would be another 2 weeks.... ;)

    thanks for the heads up
p.s.got my charger today...great piece of kit...just like the phone

I'm still waiting for my charger. How long's it been since I ordered, 4 weeks exactly. Lol. Maybe I should give them a call.

Who should I speak to about my account? OSPS, Vodafone or CPW? LOL!

empfun, I would definitely give OSPS a call. You should have had your car charger by now. Ring their customer services.

I have also contacted CPW about the free text messages, they have credited the ones I have been charged for and I was told that the 250 free texts are now being applied to accounts that havent had them already. So give CPW a ring if you haven't already had yours applied.

Thanks charlotte3, will give them a ring tomorrow morning as offices are now closed. So does that mean all plans get 250 free texts, I was the first batch that got the 8 months cashback? Cheers!

I don't know if all plans got it, I'm on the 7 month cashback deal, but if it WAS part of the deal when you bought yours then your entitled to them! But you'll probably have to ask for 'em!

As I started this thread I thought I should let everyone know my personal result. Having spoken to Trading Standards who said osps were breaking the distance selling regs (which override osps's own t&cs) by not advising of the changed T&C before sending out the phone. I found on Reestit Muttons website that he had secured the originally advertised deals for his referrals so I called osps customer services (non 0870 number available on saynoto0870) and said that I had heard they were refunding customers who had not received the deal they had ordered and they agreed to do this for me (even though I used quidco rather than a referral) and the cheque for 30 quid (from Carphone Warehouse) arrived a couple of days ago.
    I think....

Good to hear from you Mak!

Well, OSPS/CPW seem to have sorted out the 250 free texts thing. I still haven't received my £10 for ordering online, but then again I haven't told them about it so I guess it's partly my fault.

The phone is brill. I got one for myself on orange it was so good! Does anyone else get the voicemail service on Vodaphone ringing you to tell you that you have a message and if so do you get charged for it? As it is my daughters phone any messages on it are not important and I don't want to pay to retrieve them!

I think this thread might become a little more busy in a couple of months when the cashback is due... but lets hope not!
