    Just a few more notes;

You can also ring CPW on 0845-655400, which could save a lot of money on the long calls we are all making to them at the moment!

'odowdchr', please be careful and double check with OSPS that you can print off your online bill and send it to them because I was told they will not accept internet printed copied of a bill because they can be tampered with before printing.

£10 cash back.... they are waiting for more cheques to come in, then these will be sent out accordingly...(hmmm!)

It's not a problem as you also get a non itemised bill each month :rotfl:

If you want to remove the £1.50 itemised billing, you need to call Vodafone@Carphonewarehouse on 0845 655 4000. They are very friendly and will do it for free for you.
All offers have the 250 free txt messages. I called OSPS today and they told me that they are updating all the 250 sms offers with Vodafone as they have to do this in bulk according to the guy on the phone. If however you get charged for them you will be fully refunded. You might have to contact OSPS on 0845 456 7878 though.

    Hope that helps !

Word of warning: Although my package was supposed to come with the 250free text messages, it is nowhere on the invoice etc I received from osps. So it is a bit risky to send sms with the hope of getting refunded in the event that i get charged as I have no proof whatsoever that my deal includes 250text messages...

So only if it states on your invoice/contract/bill that you do have the 250 text messages that I would recommend u to use them...

I received my in car charger today, it's an original sony ericsson not a 'cheapy' make. They also included another sheet of the cash back claim vouchers which may come in handy if any go missing after I have sent them.

By the way, does anyone have any more information on the 250 free text messages?

I'm going to buy a k750i on Orange. Given all of your experiences, would you advise me to steer clear of osps, or would you say they are reliable enough?
I would appreciate your comments, as you are the onse dealing with them at the moment.

    cheers

OK - Reestit Mutton who contributes on this forum but also runs his own referral site has arranged for OSPS to give people the deals they signed up for rather than the deals they got 'if you used his referral link' so I think it may be worth applying a bit of pressure - I suggest we coordinate into a group to have more leverage - I am happy to play point 'man' for this so please pm me if you were affected and interested in trying to get some money back. I have also contacted Trading Standards and am waiting for a response.
    I think....

There was discussion about online billing when cancelling the itemised billing for this, I had a look into it and came to this:

'This final step will activate online billing on your account. This will mean you will no longer receive a paper bill - instead you will receive an ebill, with your bill attached in HTML format, to the email address you have given during registration. Once you receive your ebill you will be able to login and view your bill online'

Just pointing this out in case any1 does this - OSPS don't accept ebills so it will invalidate your cashback

mak_attack, yes I did order online, it said on the invoice that it was included in the deal. I'm not sure if it was the same for telephone sales. You could try ringing them.... again! Good luck!
