Yes - I think with surveys it's a matter of how much free time you have, how much you get screened out - and probably how desperate you are for money. I stopped as it wasn't the best use of my free time. I'd be tempted by the receipt scanning apps but shop mostly online so don't think that would work for me either.

I agree with you @savingholmes.  I only do Populus surveys and also do Shop and Scan - both shopping and Petrol Panel.  Used to do their Food on the Go as well but seemed pointless as never really bought stuff while I was out and about, even when I was working.  I think I used to scan a packet of polos about once a fortnight!

With Shoppix you can email over receipts for online purchases which I have done a few times.

Windy Wednesday Have managed another sale today, very pleased about that and glad to have another item out of the house. I had an interview yesterday and another scheduled for tomorrow. I should get some news about at least two of the jobs tomorrow or Friday. It would be good to know where I stand as we near the end of the year. I am itching to get rid of the rest of the debt and have been running the numbers. I have worked out that if I use my settlement money to clear the debts, I can accept a lower paying (less stressful) job, pay all bills and put a good chunk away to EF and savings pots every month. Although I do not have a job I will still keep to my old pay day of 28th. This was my bill paying/budget day and I don't want to get out of the habit in case I miss a payment and ruin my credit report completely.

Another day and another interview, this went well but the salary was far below the minimum I would accept. I won’t feel bad when I turn it down as I have had a great job offer to start next month!
So happy 😁 and relieved, debt freedom here we come!
