The WS must be received by the deadilne specified on the court hearing Order. Will usuaully say "14 days" or similar.

Thanks PJ. I have a copy of a WS they have sent to someone, I'm assuming it will be pretty much the same.

The deadline for WS was 21 days before the court date, that was Monday 19th August.

I handed ours in at the court on Friday 16th, emailed (CC'd to other emails) and posted a copy to Gladstones on same day (got a receipt).

I phoned court on Monday 19th to check they had paid the fee and also asked if they had received their WS, they had done both.

We are still waiting for a copy.

Have you checked your email Junk/Spam folders?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I made an email address on a domain name I own specifically for this so nothing would be missed.
There is no spam or junk folder.

The email server is running on a VPS I rent.
I've gone as far as downloading the log files to check if they sent one and it bounced back.

There is nothing, only the email we sent them.
I'm pretty confident they haven't sent an email

Then you need to let the court know - in writing - that you have not been served as per the Order of...

Send a copy to the claimant.

They can because solicitors don't have to use a physical signature, just their name is enough (have you never noticed that in any solicitor's letter?).
Well, that's not like the super solicitor that Mrs MbW and I use for her UK visa applications - she always signs with her name and not just that of the firm.

You won't be paying HX so don't see this as a  'chance' to pay less!
