...and it's "Down for Maintenance".
Gah. Today of all days.0 -

I really think at this stage, TSB should be making a full statement about what has gone wrong, whether or not our data has been compromised, and when they expect to restore the service.
The website currently says "Details of the issues can be found below, along with when we expect to fix these", but there are no details and no indication as to when they expect the problem to be resolved.0 -
Oh, come on. Even the branch finder page is broken!0

So if I were to move my bank account from TSB, what's the least awful alternative?0

Since yesterday, I have tried to access my online accounts. Changed my password at least once.
No luck getting online. They now are saying there is no online access.
I am going to complain and ask for compensation.0 -

I am going to complain and ask for compensation.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.0 -
I'm sticking with them. Oh no a comms outage for a few days. They still have one of the best accounts around.0

Their CEO has just made an appearance on Twitter - 'resurfacing' after 48 hours with his teams trying to resolve this apparently - with a series of apologies. He also says they need to take down both internet banking and the mobile app 'for a few hours' (as of about 20 minutes ago.
My own view is that this is extremely annoying but fortunately I have no immediate need to do anything with my TSB account. I feel for those who do. As pointed out higher up the thread, it's a good idea to have more than one bank account to at least partly mitigate against this kind of thing.
I have been thinking for a while about closing this account, as the perks have all expired. This may accelerate that thought process.0
