:coffee: Tea, is something to be drunk from a cup , which nestles gently upon a china saucer. It may be accompanied by a China plate adorned with small fancies, or perhaps a biscuit.

On an occasion when one may be 'roughing it' like those roughty toughty northerners, chips may be consumed, distinguished with a delicate sprinkling of salt and vinegar.
At no time should GRAVY be added, for fear of being mistaken for a person Norf of Watford.

Incidentally, I think you'll find we Southerners are well 'ard - just look what I can do without hurting my head.....:wall:
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

We don't have gravy , but Mr Sheel likes curry sauce on his chips

Like the sound of the mushy pea balls!

I remember first hearing about deep fried Mars bars when my sister lived in Scotland. I think they'll deep fry anything up there , they used to chuck pies in the fryer
