Evening everyone,
Treated myself to a wee takeaway lunch today plus I picked up some potatoes for dinner this week bringing my spends to £311.68/£350.
Sent £21.36 to the full and final fund.
Read a bit of my book during breaks at work and I managed to give the kitchen a clean this evening.
I'm with talktalk for broadband/tv and noticed they're offering a package to new customers for £5 less than what I pay but with more features than I get so I'm going to phone up and ask if I can have it too.
Today I'm grateful for getting to the bus stop just as the bus pulled up.VSPC 2019 #10 - £168.80/£100 VSPC 2020 #4 - £262.03/£200 VSPC 2021 #9 - £242.88/£200 VSPC 2022 #3 - £188.03/£200 VSPC 2023 #7 - £0/£2000 -
apple muncher - The school still has to advertise the admin job that has become vacant. The business manager does not know the time scale as from yesterday. So for now I think I will be there until the next half term holiday in May. Do not want to apply due to early start - 7.30am and the travelling.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20130

Yesterday was NSD 14
I have been through my email accounts collecting my voucher winnings.
So far I have:
£5 for Mr M
£10 for M&S
£1 for Mr T
£1 for H&B
£3 for Amaz0n
So I have printed them off (not Amaz0n) and I will go on a 'not spending money shopping trip' when DH comes back from his weekend away (the swine). Something to look forward to innit?
Plasterer rang yesterday while I was under the dentist (!) so could not answer the phone - are we ALL at the dentist this week?
Anyway, plasterer is not starting today, he is starting tomorrow.
Grrrrr, anyway, the job will get done before May.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hi All -
Woke up with the birds this morning to get my washing on the line before the rugrats woke up and demanded my full attention lol. It is all such a mad rush on the days I am at work when hub is away. MIL is here next week though to help. She is having my boys for a couple of days to save on childcare ( I have a couple of these days thrown in every month as every day is £100 saved. Big money for us.)
A-today is NSD #14 :T
P-There is a grand total of 16p in my bank account until Friday, should help with the not spending :rotfl:
R-hello
I- no baking today - to be honest it seems unlikely I will find the time until at least the weekend!
L- was going to throw on yesterday's black trousers for work today but I decided to make a bit of an effort. Glad I did. I always feel better in myself when I do and I feel very summery (even if the heating did go back on last night:( )
F- just hanging the washing and feeling the chickens this morning.
O-- starting to organise for May now. (as if it is almost May already) & I have paid my childcare bill, organised my budgets etc.
O- one of the reasons my budget is so small is because my littlies got hold of my purse & put every last penny in our jar :rotfl:I was going to put most of it in there anyway though!
L- planning to make a real effort at work today
S- grateful for - not needing the drier anymore :j hub being home in a week and for short working weeks - not sure my house would still be standing if I worked full time this week0 -
Went for a run this morning - it wasn't fun but it's done.
This is the last day of the month for us, new month starts tomorrow - pay day - yay.
Still have some money left in the petrol and grocery budgets but not much really, it will be transferred to savings regardless.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
Fashion on the Ration 28/660 -
Evening all.
Nothing special to report today, so just updating.
Aim for at least [STRIKE]15[/STRIKE] 22 NSDs. 16/22 NSDs. No spends today.
[STRIKE]Pay to your debt first.[/STRIKE]Mums monthly payment made.
Report in every day. Back again
Interests - Gaming. More watching rather than playing.
Love yourself. Lounging on the sofa doing nothing with my evening
Find time to get outside. Took pup for a walk after work, dragged him slightly further to catch a pokemon I wanted.
Overpay - More surveys.
Organise your month. Nothing planned for the rest of the month.
Lose one bad habit. - Not practicing my sax. Boxing tonight, so wednesdays are a 'free pass' as I go straight from work to class. Too late by the time I get home.
Sign off with a gratitude. Today I am grateful that I've almost cleared my email inbox at work.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Kerry Woman - at least you know where you are for the next few weeks.
Today I am grateful for the luxury of a car, for a good day at work, for dd's lovely reaction when I got home soon after her, for sorting all our pens and pencils and felt tips and highlighers, for being inside out of the rain, for the abundance of cherry blossom out there, for dd's knees hurting her less each day.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
