Could I use the ZG7499 £25 off code as well as the FREE p&p code..........or would I get a phone call?

Hi all, my wife has an LX account and gets mailings nearly every week with the latest codes. Even the ones on the official mailings are hit or miss as to whether they work! Latest is "another" free P&P code but it does not work!!

Noticed the following in the "very" small print on the mailing:-

......where you have used a promotional code to obtain free delivery on your order, acceptance of the claim is subject to our verifying that the code has been issued to you personally. In the event that the code has not been issued to you for your personal use, the price of your order will be adjusted notwithstanding any email or other confirmation that you receive. We reserve the right to reclaim the discount if the order does not comply with all terms and conditions given. :-/

I dont want to panic anyone but thought I should share this (apologies if it has already been posted in previous threads).

You may get an e-mail asking you to call them so they can ask where you got the codes from, perhaps the codes were goodwill gestures for past problems, or any other reason you can think of. It's worth a go!

Received a new 10% off code this morning through the post, it's XX325, it's valid on everything & lasts for 14 days. No mention of a minimum spend.  

Also, XX362, for 10% off, valid on orders over £30, one code per order!! Offer from now until Monday!

Hi all,
I placed an 60+ pound order but forgot to apply any codes at the time of purchase So decided to bite the bullet and phone up customer services. As I also received an e-mail asking me to contact them but it was only to confirm DOB. So at the same time I blagged it sed had the 25pound code ZG7499 that didn't work at the time of ordering....But nice as pie they sed it's ok we can process The discount and credit the money back to your card ;D happy days....Also got a code through with my goods for 10 pounds off ZG8479

Don't be afraid to ring them if they ask they didn't want to know where the code came from ....Anyway if they did you say you got it through the post on a flyer or somthing.

I haven't noticed that last line before:

'We reserve the right to reclaim the discount if the order does not comply with all terms and conditions given'

When did they add that?

It seems as though I won't be able to reclaim the money they took back  :'(

Just ordered a Brabantia wide ironing board, wanted one for ages but couldn't justify the money. So it was £58, used codes

XX520 Free P&P

So only works out at £35, well chuffed ;D

The codes I've received for 10% off have come on a flyer.
ZG7499 is a £25 off, minimum spend £60.
ZG3722 is a £20 off, minimum spend £45.
3 free p&p codes are: XX728, XX729 & XX730.
All of the above worked earlier this eve but neither of the 25% off codes, XX749 & XX750, did! :-/

Just posted an order this evening for a pair of match bedside tables - online price - 39.99 each or two for 59.99 - so bought two! used the code

ZG3722 - £20 off - worked fine
XX520 - free postage and packaging

so 2 for the price of one and free delivery! NICE
