I tried to use a £10 off code last week but got an email saying I needed to contact them. So I rang them & was told the code was only for 1st orders so I just cancelled my order. I was going to get Halo 2 for X box but instead I went into Game with 4 really old games & exchanged them for halo 2 ( + £5.99). Much better bargain than LX direct ;D ;D ;D

when this thread first started I put a 25% discount and a £25 discount. I was told that I could only have one, but they gave me both in the end. Well I have now recieved a statement for a personal account that I have not opened with £25 on it. All it said was voucher cancelled. So I now owe them £25. I suppose they can do this, anyone know?

are you sure it is £25 you owe them? I used a £15 voucher then returned the goods when they arrived as they not the right size. when I got my statement it said that I had £15 to spend.

No, it definatly says £25 owed. It states "Voucher cancelled" on the invoice. Maybe email them first to complain! But I fully expect to have to pay.

tell them to take a running jump. The contract with them, as far as you were concerned, was for the price of the phone with the discount. You did not want it without the discount. If they they force the issue then, tell them you no longer want it and will return it for a full refund - and see what they say. However, the contract between you and them was for the phone with the discount.

Am not certain but I think the name you order under has to be the same as that on the debit/credit card. :-/
