Brilliant that you've made a good start to it! Sorry, I disappeared off the face of the earth yesterday as we ended up being out all day and I was actually busy for once at work this morning! But offer still there if you want anyone to have a look at anything before you bet it - just give us a shout. Atlhough it sounds as though you're doing fine rightly as it is!

Another day, another dollar, as we used to say....

The thing that actually scares me, with m.b.ing, is not getting like markets at the bookie and the exchange, and I don't seem to be able to take screen shots to explain what I've done in my checking out emails on the newbie thread over there. Or upload them, come to that. But the qualifying one I did certainly worked, and triggered bonuses in both places, so I'm a happy camper for now.

Other dfwness: one of my mystery shop people has started to give me jobs again, and I now have *four* lined up over the next few months, including a phone call one in March.

Still haven't done any more bingo bonus bagging, between actual paid work from my normal job and working on the m.b., I haven't had much time. I'll see what I can do today, but its the 3rd priority of dfwness.

Life stuff: is also related to dfwness/finances: I have to collect my English accounts from my accountant, and start my French accounts; and with any spare time, I'd like to continue garden work and wallpaper stripping in the kitchen - I regard both of those as dfw because I work from home, and because my house will provide me with pension money when I downsize eventually. Ooh, and I should list more stuff on amazon. So, nothing much!

Hi hon, yawn to amazon!! have a stack of books glaring at me from the fireplace accusing me with their scornful looks that "books are made to be read and how will we be read sitting in your fireplace hmmm? oh and purleeeeease don't light the fire!!!" he he!! think thats my third dfw priority right now!!! sounds like you have a busy day ahead of you hon, enjoy!!! xxx

Hiya! I even skimped on diary reading cos of the m.b., but I've done the freebie for today, so am back to normal, except I've got to go out in a min for the mystery shop - thats dfw no 2, by the way!

Lol to the books talking to you! I decluttered my living room like crazy just before Christmas, so I can't see them at the mo, just piles of library books and m.b. stuff - but they're calling to me from the spare bedroom.... have a good day, sweetie, you deserve it.
    xx

Aww thanks hon!!! I have a mystery shop to do on friday, woohoo!! sounds asthough the MBing is going great guns if another done today! Hmmmm, spare room? would that be the room that is currently taken up by the ferret and a tidal wave of paper? where i am meant to be working from instead of the sofa where i currently am due to it being so darned cold upstairs? if i launch them into there i'll never find them again!!!
Enjoy the mystery shop you busy little DFW'er you!! xx

Aw, that cute little ferret! How's he doing? I know what you mean about the cold, tho - I have this whole house to myself, and I live in the living room, the c.h. is so inefficient its the only one thats warm, cos of the gas fire.

Results of the matched bet are in (last Sunday's was the qualifier, today is the freebie) - and it went well - total is now £35 at sb and £127.50 at bf, which is the right way round, I "lost" at the bookie, and since the new total is £162.50, I only lost £1.25 on actualising the freebie into money of my own.... uh, I know what I mean by that, even if its not English.

Tomorrow its lots of work on the house and adminny stuff, the only dfw things going on will be surveys and bingo bonus bagging. I could waste a lot of time looking for matched bets, but will do the qualifier between now and Sunday. Feeling good.

Right, just done my qualifier for the next stage of the freebie, oops, used up 3.88% of the profit in doing it. I'm a beginner, what can I tell you. For my London work, my ordinary paid work, I pay over 16% of the gross income in room rental alone, and thats not counting transport costs in getting there, so even a total of 8% is okay. Must try harder, but it was still fun because I used my home town team to do it.

I keep threatening to go out into the garden while the sun is shining, and so some work, but so far all I keep doing is opening up new pages on the laptop and sending emails. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do...

PS - this is one of the pages.... http://www.michaelshanks-online.com/images/arkoftruth/arkoftruth_016.jpg uh oh, Daniel's in trouble. Truth is, the actor couldn't go film in the Arctic Circle with the rest of the cast cos he was working on those sexy scenes at the end of the latest season of 24, so Daniel had to get *severely* whumped. No spoilers tho!

:o   Uh oh.....  :o
Well, I made my first m.b. mistake. I thought I'd layed, and turns out I hadn't done anything at all. I must not have pressed the last button needed to do the bet hard enough, or something, cos I definitely remember doing it. Typical of me - I can work for ages on the principal of something, but its the tiny little details that will get me, every time.
