And *another* post from me.... Just added up amazon, gfk, no taxis when I used to take them, that kind of thing, and since the end of the Olympic Challenge, that works out to £51.62. With *no* contribution yet from bingo sites. And I refuse to keep on staring at the matched bet things - I've done it right or I haven't, if I go online at the end of the game, the total I have in the accounts should be roughly the same, cos I'll have lost on one, and won on the other. Tra-la. With knobs on.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

If you want my OH to have a quick look over it with you, just give us a shout - he's better than me at understanding it all!
With the bingo thing, I've discovered that it's easier just to play the 75 number bingo, as you're playing just for the jackpot hten which seems to be around the £30 rather than having to deposit money to get your winnings, suppose there's less chance of winning though. If you've still got the £9.95 you'll need to deposit £20, then £5, then withdraw the full £34.95.
Just had an enormous flurry of viewers - 3 lots of second viewings, 2 of them talking about offering tomorrow. Don't really know what to say to them about the fact we've already accepted an offer!0 -
Thanks for the tips on the bingo, pandapaws - I'll be taking that up again tomorrow, I think, while I'm working on the computer. And I may take you up on your offer of your OH's eye - what terrifies me is that even tho I check it on the beginners' thread, they don't realise what box I'm looking at on betfair or whatever, and without checking that for themselves, they don't know whether I'm doing it right or not, they just know whether the odds I've listed make sense. Thats what I mean about not trusting myself!
The viewings sound great - difficult to know what to tell them about a previous offer, isn't it? Its like you're angling for the biz - like when I was selling my last house, I was dying for a cup of coffee, but didn't dare put it on, because anybody coming to view would think I was trying to do the whole "marketing" thing. So I held off - actually, it made quite a funny talking point with some people.
Good luck with the offers - I'm definitely hoping for a sealed bid situation for you!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
How funny!!! :rotfl: Am I weird cos I laugh out loud at the things I read on my computer?
I hope not... :whistle:Tho this morning I'm worried ZTD thinks I'm a complete lush....
How complete is "complete"..?I only had a single pub measure of cava, honest!
Yeah...fill up a pub with cava, then you drink it...Its cos I *don't* drink very often now!

Rats! I'm so predictable! :rotfl: It *is* a big glass I was using, that much I'll admit!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hey Karmacat,
Just thought I would pop over from the MB'ing board to see if everything went okay with Sportingbet?
Don't forget to email them this morning!"I'm not from around here, I have my own customs"
For confirmation: No, I'm not a 40 year old woman, I'm a 26 year old bloke!0 -
Hi Riq!
How nice of you to pop in! Just checked the sites: my balance at Betfair is up by £23.75, and my balance at sportingbet is down by £25, giving the £1.25 loss predicted. Hurray! :money:
I actually felt really calm after I'd done it, not what I expected, I think because I'd taken so long to do it. I've now emailed sportingbet on their prepared email form, so I'll be watching for that. I have 3 email addresses on the go, so the most difficult thing was actually finding which one I'd used, it was the one thing I hadn't written down!
Onwards and upwards :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Glad everything turned out well.
You'll be rattling through them in no time I'm sure, I had £800 worth of bets on Boxing Day, I never thought I would do that, I don;t even play the lottery!!I know alot of the guys on MB'ing board think nothing of £2,000 lay risks!! lol
If Sportingbet don't credit you tomorrow (which they have a habit of) just get them on the livechat and they will credit it straight away. Top bookie they are, I wish I couldhave carried on with them!!"I'm not from around here, I have my own customs"

Hi Riq
What a shame, I didn't see this last post of yours until after I'd been rattling about on the Newcomers MB board again this morning. £800.... wow. I was dreaming of Donglemouse's stash last night - even over a few years, it needs a lot more outstanding at one time than my little £25 - you sound like you're well on the way to it, tho, thats great. I'm not able to pay attention now till about 4.30, so I'll be off until then.
There really should be another name for this than "matched betting" - its not remotely similar to betting, as you say, you don't play the lottery. And on those bingo sites.... how bleak are they? Now there's betting - buy random cards, the computer chooses numbers, and the computer marks your cards and allocates your money.... wow.
It'll be a couple of months, I reckon, before I'm comfortable at doing more than one bet at a time. Thats okay! See you later.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Just re-starting my hunt for the right way to use my free bet. My balance at betfair has gone up by a total of £43.75, to £103.75 - the bonus, I guess. And my balance at sportingbet is now £60. So having started with £120 in total, I'm now at £163.75 - this is good!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
