No humouring going on, Pandapaws, thats not something I do, ever. And as for "long winded" - thats exactly the level of response I needed. Don't you dare delete it, lol!
Have been seeing on your sig you've got a baby due in 10 weeks! Wow - how are you doing?
Fine but fat - nothing new there then! Main problem is getting moved before I have to go back to work (which is 22nd April, 6 weeks after my due date - our finances are in a fine balance, so unpaid/SMP time off is just NOT an option!), we live too far away at the moment, so the move is essential. All good fun!
Such a shame that we're all over the country - if it was possible to get together in a group I reckon it would be quite easy to show the 'do this, do that' of matched betting. It's just so much more difficult to explain things in words, especially if you're trying to do it with only minimal understanding yourself! Once you've done it a few times it's really easy, it's just getting to that stage that takes forever!0 -
Moving while that pregnant! I don't envy you that, but I bet you're looking forward to having the baby, how lovely.
I'd certainly host a little seminar on matched betting, but I'm on the coast, so a long, long way from some people. Spud, sorry its that tight for you. I have some spare, but may not have in the longer term, which is why I'm anxious to do it now.
I just got back my draft accounts to be sent in for the end of January - they show very clearly one of the other big financial issues of my life - my income from my usual paid work has reduced by about a third from its heyday, its no wonder I'm finding things tight. I'd seriously consider an ordinary part time job, in a library or something, but I'm 53 and have been self employed for over 20 years in the personal development business - I'm kind of unemployable for anything except word processing. If my plans for this year come off, at least I start the future free and clear, with no debts and a saleable/rentable house. Its hard to stop thinking about it, but I have to be able to relax and have enough energy to do the things I need to do.... watch this space, I guess.
So today, as well as coffee, paperwork and wallpaper stripping, there's a bit more preparation on m.b.ing. Watch this space some more.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
KC, the tight finances are self inflicted. I have not budgetted for DS's school holiday, which needs to be paid by mid Jan. Stupid really, I should have saved it a little each month
So, £200 right after Christmas, in the worst month financially. We just have to live on whats left (not much) till next payday :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Hi Spud, no, its not on right now, is it. But what *is* on for you is the practice, if you have the time. Stay with us, do, the more the merrier.
I'm not doing quite as much as I should, tho not too bad, so I'm going to take a complete break from the house and go for a walk. That'll get the blood circulating, get rid of cobwebs, etc, etc, but means I'll also have to take paracetemol for the teethache that always happens these days when I'm out in v cold air. Will do deep breathing exercises. Bye for now.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Have a nice walk hun.
I love going out walking on cold frosty days like today. I wonder if the dog fancies a trip out
I'll definitely stick around and watch and learn, ready for having a go myselfIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Glad to hear it, spud. Guess why the delay in replying? I did go for a walk, but it was much too cold, would have got to my teeth, so I turned back and headed straight for the steam stripper! The kitchen walls look a bit better - haven't done tons, but I'm really unfit, and I'm pleased with what I have done. Just been on the gambling intro board, and a newbie the same as me has posted (locutus2003 - somebody's a Star Trek Next Gen fan....) and has been recommended to sportingbet. So I'm going to be checking/joining that offer the rest of the week, familiarising with sportingbet, and then hopefully do it on Tuesday (its a thing they do about Monday and Tuesday). Thats fine for me, I'm chuffed at that. Anybody else at the stage where they might actually do it? GTD, you back yet?2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I know we have done Sportingbet, will look out my little black book when I'm next downstairs and see what rating we gave it! We found some of the bookies an absolute nightmare, whereas others were quite easy to get the hang of.
A good idea is to do ones through Quidco first, that way if you do mess it up, the cashback usually covers the loss! BUT check with the bookies website directly first - there was one that we did through Quidco that gave us a free £20 bet, but we went back to the site later and saw it was offering £50 if you hadn't used a referral site. So many things to remember!!!
BTW, (to change the subject completely!) our no-show viewers have been back for a 2nd viewing tonight, and say they'll put in an offer tomorrow after they've confirmed some stuff with their mortgage adviser. Sounding promising - send some positive vibes this way!0 -

Thanks for checking in your book, pandapaws, that would help.
I didn't do anything much in the evening that was dfw.... what on earth *did* I do???? slobbed, I think. Oh, I know, I unpacked half of my immersion cupboard. Difficult decluttering decision: there are a couple of jumpers in there that I knitted myself, years ago, and one of them is really beautiful. But I've never actually worn it, my skin is very sensitive and its wool, pretty scratchy to me. What I want to do is take a photo and then take it to a charity shop: I'm not sure I can bear to, but I know I'll never wear it. Nobody in the family is small enough to wear it, its a small size 12. Anybody here a small 12 who wants a batwing jumper?2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning KC. I think you should feel proud that you have made something so beautiful and be proud of the pleasure you will give whoever buys it at the charity shop, also feel good about the money it raises for said charity xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground.
