It was obviously the large book on her lap, making her look intelligent that got your attention ZTD!

Oh yeah, I forgot little green lights. Blimey, ZTD, you're up there with the quotes symbols and whatnot, and my brain is slowing down badly.... am seeing a weird mishmash of Nigella and Michael, with you in there too... and that weird sculpture poking out of the ground in one of those Dutch seaside resorts, the one with the lovely humongous hotel.... ooh, we're so international... thats it, I have to go sober up, some very funny images.... possibly some protein would help. Haven't eaten since lunchtime, I'm sure that can't help. You take care, kiddo, just seeing your sig as I'm typing, have fun with Avril Lavigne....

    xx

Yes, I think eating before the Cava and inviting a friend round to share will stop you seeing too many things poking up out of the ground...

I'm still here! Doing fine, just had to quickly shut down as I couldn't hit the computer mute button fast enough - in-laws dropped in unannounced and I didn't want then to hear sunday people bingo in case they thought I'd developed a gambling addiction. Some things are too difficult to explain to the elderly!

How funny!!! :rotfl: Am I weird cos I laugh out loud at the things I read on my computer? Tho this morning I'm worried ZTD thinks I'm a complete lush.... I only had a single pub measure of cava, honest! Its cos I *don't* drink very often now!

Not doing too badly on things at the mo. The house has to be back in order for tomorrow, cos thats when clients start coming in again, but its not too bad. I'm not posting my to-do list up here, its too long, but the two main dfw things I'm doing are opening an account with Sporting Bet and printing AND READING the T&Cs, and preparing to prepare to trade again.

Right. Off to do another bingo thingie in the background while I muck about on the Sportingbet website.

Found my little black book - I remember Sporting Bet - the one with all the terms & conditions!!! When we did it, you had to email them every Monday for 4 weeks, and they gave you a free £25 bet each time? They did pay up though no problem, so I'd recommend them, but there were a lot of conditions attached to it - not sure if I'd do that one first though as it was a bit complicated!

One of our first was PaddyPower - you only had to bet £10 of your own (so less risk!) and then you got a £20 free bet. Also got £25.50 through Quidco although it had to be claimed manually (not through a fault, it just said that on the info). They had quite a good range of bets as well.

How's the bingo going? I've worked through loads this morning and won nowt. Discovered that the IC ones give £10 free though! - OOH - I just won!!! I take it all back - £29 I think! Off to investigate!

Oh, I forgot about joining through Quidco!!! Oh well, too late now. I have to go through with Sportingbet now, as their free bet thing is time limited. Its a bit of a steep learning curve. Tho I read it perfectly clearly, I didn't ACT on the fact that my qualifying bet needs to be done before I send off for the free bet thingy. The devil is in the detail, as they say.

I've done another bingo site this morning, but the voices are sending me crazy (that does sound crazy, doesn't it!). Done 3, won nothing. Actually, I won £9.95 on one, should I have put in £20 then and withdrawn it, I wonder? No clue!

Pleased about having got all the Christmas stuff into the box, and the box and the tree into the garage. And its only the day after Twelfth Night! V impressed.

Okay, done it! Betfair says my bet was successfully matched. Sportingbet says my bet was placed successfully, and even wished me good luck....

You should see the drivel I've been posted on the beginners thread, tho, I must sound like an absolute idiot, I really don't trust myself. Today is a case in point: I had no intention of doing this today, but then realised that if I want to do the free bet email thing Monday and Tuesday, I have to. So I did. Detail is just not my strong point, but I keep on going into situations where I have to have detail correct - well, I suppose we all do, but it freaks me out sometimes.
