If you got a MS lookalike he wouldn't get out..you would be encouraging the spiders:rotfl:Hmm wonder if there is a train deal on at the same time as he is in town. I am thinking of the new exhibition in the British museum about Henry the Eighth. Would be fascinating.
Good luck with the cleaning.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Ooh Bob .... seriously, do you fancy coming to London? You could dog leg it down to Cornwall? You could overnight with me and my spiders if you wanted (there'll be a lot less of them by then, hopefully).2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi Karma, hope you had a good weekend! Glad your spiders aren't as huge as those ones.. I don't mind spiders but they made me shudder. As did the big one that was in my bath when I got up this morning :eek:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Hi Red! Yep, I had a lovely weekend - sad to come back to work, I must say, but still, needs must. I met two new cats and a new neighbour today as well (could remember the cats' names, but not the neighbour's, but she forgave me
). Sorry you found a you know what in your bath today .....
Shaun - I used to have *lots* of pet spiders, the thin spindly ones that are very rare except in the south of England. I'd have half a dozen with me in the bathroom quite happily. But when you do that, you get spiders laying in the house - and have you seen how many hatch from one lot? Its a lot. Hundreds, possibly, or at least *a* hundred. Can't have that!
And with that, ladies and gents, the spider conversations are *ended*. Finito. I'm coming on here to get away from the flipping things.....:o:o but I'm aware its me that brought them on here....:o
Anyway, today's been fairly busy - got to £10 on takeabreak, I took out £10 less than usual from the bank so I've transferred that to my overpayment fund, I've eaten several helpings of pasta and found it doesn't upset my stomach :j:j:j:j tho I won't eat it as often as I have been this week - that will do my dfw efforts the world of good, wheat is *cheap*. And yummy. Win win.
Right, got to get ready for evening sessions - been slobbing this afternoon. Hope everybody's doing well.

Morning! I'm tidying and cleaning like mad - horrified at the amount of dust thats collected in various spots that I never get to, and wondering if thats why my dust allergies are so bad. I'm going to do some rejigging so that I can clean more regularly behind my AV setup. Got to work fairly steadily during the day (at work-work) so there's more cleaning in my future this evening.
Hope everyone has a good day.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Blimey, Shaun, thats some list you've got there. You don't have elvin with you today? Where he gone? Even without him, tho, you've really got your work cut out - and your green light is on!
I've just come back from a meeting for work, taken library books back, and a few magazines to the swap place at the library...... now its making sure the house (and me!) are presentable for 3 hours work this afternoon. I wish it was as simple as clicking my scratchcards in the morning ..... ah well....
See you later

I like Paul O'Grady's dog, I saw him the other day at my mum's .... you've got to have something to keep you going during the day, of course you do! GL GL GL GL2023: the year I get to buy a car0
