    If you are going to check the Boots advantage card machine for the points competition... You may also get some vouchers for some No7 products.

    No7 Illuminating Powder - £10 but free when you buy something No7
    No7 Line lift £12.70 - free when you spend over £15 on No7 skincare
    No7 Glycolytic Peel - half price with voucher (£17.60 down to £8.80)

    Print them too! There have been reports on the Boots thread on the Grabbit board that the combination of all 3 vouchers used at the same time means you actually get paid £1.20 to take these products away!

    Total = £10 + £12.70 + £17.60 = £40.30 but...
    No7 on 3 for 2 so -£10 for cheapest item off = £30.30
    No7 illum voucher -£10 off bill = £20.30
    No7 Line lift voucher -£12.70 off bill = £7.60
    No7 Glycolic peel voucher -£8.80 = -£1.20 :eek: :D+ you get a £2 off colour cosmetics till voucher (you can get a bourjois pencil sharpener for free with this or a couple of other things for less than a £1 like glass nail file or nail polish remover )

    You may not get the vouchers (its random whether you do or not - I so far only got the Illum powder voucher) and the shop assistants may refuse to take them all but the tills allow these to go through at the same time so it may be worth a try. I've not tried it but several people have and successfully managed to get these things for free plus £1.20 off items they bought at the same time to disguise this free stuff a bit!

    Ooh, taka, thanks for that - I did check, but didn't get anything, tho I'll have a serious look for that glycolic peel. My skin certainly needs some severe looking after, and I've been wondering about peels.

    I was out for about 3 hours - didn't get the diy things, I'll do taht on Saturday, but went to Asda and got a few veggies and cheapie tatties to see me over. And I'm introducing wheat back into my diet for a little while, as per doc's instructions. I know it won't agree with me eventually, but I had pasta for lunch today, it was *so* nice.

    Had to have a lie down, I confess - well, I'm on holiday! Pest control men is supposed to be round between 5 and 6, and hasn't shown yet, so thats not going too well, and his firm sounded most professional - the other one quoted without having seen the place, and this guy wants to look, and will also give preventive advice.

    Pottering on the lappie whilst waiting for pest control man (seems doomed now) but I've managed to bag two mystery shops in the same direction, sharing a rail ticket, which will get me out of the house and into a local town I like, on a day when I'm not doing any other paid work. Win win.

    Hi Clarienne! Where's the family you're studying? I'm mostly in Liverpool, but also Ireland,Yorkshire and Northants. I was up at the National Archives on Friday, got 1911 census records, a military medical record for my great grandfather, divorce proceedings from 1924 (my relative was The Other Woman, oops), a few other searches that yielded no results, but are still valuable in terms of where next to look.

    Hi Bob - hunky would be nice, but he was a tiny little man. :) I'd really like a Michael Shanks lookalike, of course. Mind you, he's over here in July, at London Comiccon. Hurray!

    Z. ZZZZZZ!!!!!!! Take that piccie off my thread!!!!!!! You big blue meanie! How can you do that to me? :confused::eek::(:cry::exclamati:shocked: _pale_:naughty: I thought :kisses3:

    Hi Shaun! Love what you've done to the sheep!

    Pest control man is going to turn up next Wednesday to do his thing - I'm slogging my guts out clearing access to the footings of the house and all the skirting boards in every room. Does anyone have any idea how much of our skirting boards we obstruct with furniture and stuff? Plus, in my case, I have to wipe over the flooring to make sure that I don't wipe up the stuff he puts down (I don't clean that often !!!! so it'll be okay for a while).
