Grr. *Another* bad phone call. And this one lasted just over an hour. Going nuts. And I didn't have any heating on, and now I'm freezing. Just stuffed a snickers bar, but its not enough. Aarggh

I need a whole shopful of Snickers. I must have finally frightened the life out of CS at betdaq, eventually the transfer I'd been waiting for and struggling with since Thursday was done in ten minutes this afternoon. Then the paddypower trader a/c, which is what I want the dosh for, can't accept moneybookers :mad::o:mad::o:mad::o:mad::o so the whole thing didn't matter anyway, it was all completely useless. So now I have to send money from my sterling account, which is okay in the short term, tho still not great, but it also means the money won't be there in time to take advantage of the PP account offer, an E100 bonus for 4 trades, cos that expires on 31st January. They've just agreed to extend that to the 4th February (bless them - its not really their problem) and to email me confirmation when they email me their bank details for me to send them a bank draft.

You know, when I'm a millionaire, I want to be able to look back at this and laugh. I'm actually sort of laughing about it right now. I *knew* this morning that with all the difficult phone calls something was going wrong with the universe round this way, and it really was. The phone calls have continued too, and what's really odd is that I sound completely normal when I'm taking them. Everybody's very grateful, as per normal. I feel like the last survivor of a siege somehow.

Thats true! Sorry Bob, to face me in full rant mode - I don't do it very often, but when I do...... I could hear my accent starting to come out during the final conversation at betdaq, which means that I'm finally getting fed up with people's stupidity.... very glad they managed to get their act together so quickly after that.

Hopping over to your thread now to find something nice, then off to my bank to do the deed and get my PP trader a/c funded.

I am glad too, it must be hard giving them what for in another language..:mad: They sound very incompitent.

Snicker rage indeed! Tho it was always in English :o:o when I'm like that its my *scouse* accent that comes out :D:D the level of incompetence was unbelievable.

And it doesn't finish there! I decided to just withdraw from it all and went out into the garden doing some more digging at where the veg patch is going to be. Walked up and down the road afterward. I'd just made myself a cup of tea, and who phones up? Betdaq :eek::eek::eek: They're trying to blame me for their mistake. I withdrew E120 last Thursday, but at first I input the wrong email address. So they sent it twice. Natch! Or they didn't, I can't quite work it out now - it also seems to have wound up in a holding account of betdaq's. But it showed as being deducted from my account, so I was expecting it to arrive at moneybookers.

I held out for as long as I could, but I had this breathless (frightened) Irish girl **girl** rabbiting at me, and I was so tired, and so upset, I cracked and said "so what happens now?". They *couldn't* ask me for the money back directly, they can't do that, but that gave them the opening to say please send the money back. So I told them I would on two conditions:
- I retain ten euros for my trouble - I already suggested ten euros compensation, which I *know* they wouldn't have gone for, but now I'm the one with the power:D
- I'm not doing it today cos I'm too upset (which I am, actually, and I have to calm down before I work) but I'm not doing it at all until I get an email from them confirming everything. And of course, tho I didn't say so to them, I've worked out to my own satisfaction that they have double sent something.

All in all, its been a nightmare of a day. I will never, ever use betdaq again. If I ever want to do any matched betting in euros, I'll figure out another way of doing it.

Cripes KC, i am so sorry that they have been absolutely awful. I would pose a question on the MB board and see if they can suggest an alternative. (((HUGS))X
