Hi Karmacat,
Well done on your lists and I hope you like the new microwave.

OOh lovely shiney microwave and all for free. I haven't started Qype yet..will be doing some tonight as i had problems thinking of reviews but have made a list and hopefully will be enough.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

And now ... the follow up! Today I have:
- sat at the d*mn trading and got distracted."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
"We were born and raised in a summer haze." Adele 'Someone like you.'
"Blowing your mind, 'cause you know what you'll find, when you're looking for things in the sky." OMD 'Julia's Song'0 -
The microwave is *pretty* - I've realised in the last few years that I actually do like good design, thats why I like my phone for instance, its modelled on the ipod.
And Z... I know, I'm a git. Its about not setting that d*mn alarm. I swear I will tomorrow. I'm a git. Bleep!
Okay, today, what have I done:
- since I was halfway there on qype this morning, I've done loads more reviews. And replied to some poor woman who thought I *was* the sexy looking bloke I have there as my avatar (its Michael Shanks, of course) - she actually sent me her phone number, in fact I think she may have posted it up on the whole website....
- checked out loads of little emails from ipoints for the 5/10 points, tho they still haven't given me the second load of bingo points I'm owed.
- unwrapped the [STRIKE]website[/STRIKE] why did I write website? I mean microwave, ha (still ha!)!
- 1.75 hours of paid work.
- checked out what to do tomorrow, including hopping off the train tomorrow at Three Bridges so I can go to the Lidl nearby.
EDIT:
- I also relisted a few ebid items ( just a few clicks - and they weren't even viewed, thats not good)
- withdrew money from bet24 and betdaq to open a euro spreadbetting account with paddypower. E100 for placing four trades - and I'm good at that, I've done it twice and made a profit both times!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Now that's where we differ - I like a phone that I don't have to charge for a week. Thin enough to snap in my pocket is not what I call good design...And Z... I know, I'm a git. Its about not setting that d*mn alarm. I swear I will tomorrow. I'm a git. Bleep!

Um, a charge lasts me about two months. I use the alarm, and I phone my mum once a week from London to check she's not deadPut a notice up...(about the trading)
You know, thats a very good idea.... thank you! :rotfl:You've scored! :T :T :T :T :T

Terrible, isn't it... of course, it *is* partly my fault for using him as my avatar, whereas she was using a pic of herself ...:D
Anyway, today, I have done:
-scratches (just realised - no, I don't have fleas)
- checked what profit I have from partybets £100 bet - its cost about £40, so only about £60. Only. Ha! I've withdrawn, but I'm still wondering if I've made a mistake doing that - the thread on the m.b. board says the WR is £800, and I've only done £600. We'll see.
- cleared the ground a bit - took 2 bags to the charity shop.
- did two qype reviews, did a little bit of research for 3 more.
- have found a place to take wood offcuts, sitting in my garage from old building work - they sell it on as firewood. Hurray for reusing!
- bought a little set of short kniitting needles - 5mm, 5.5mm, 6mm and 6.5mm for a quid in poundland.
- bought two redcurrant bushes, £1 each, at the same time.
- realised that when Stargate Atlantis finishes its run, I'll probably leave Sky: there's been a lot in the media about conserving money, and I just don't *need* sky, its really not relevant. £18 a month could be saved.
- checked banking, I have a £12 payment from gfk in, must update my sig.£12 payment.
- shopping: I decided to stop buying individual Snickers bars from the off licence, and buy 5 from Sainsbury's - hoping I won't do that overeating thing of two of them in one day, except in *really* dire circumstances. 45p saved.
- will experiment with cheap ground coffee from them, £1 for Douwe Egberts. Even basic ground coffee is £1.19. We'll see.
- *didn't* just buy a couple of fancy balls of wool at poundland - even though I'm on a knitting kick, I am *not* going to get into buying the odd ball. I have some ideas, but I'm going to wait till I've finished DGN's little sweater type thing before I try to do anything (DGN = Dear Great Nephew).
- ruminating on qualifying for a freebie at totesport - £50 for a qualifier of £25, but has to be placed today. And Barcelona looks good, and it doesn't start till 9pm tonight, plenty of time to faff around opening the account.
- just realised I haven't turned the heat on yet, after getting in from town at 2.30pm! Ye gods I'm proud of myself! Getting a bit cold now tho, so on it goes....
Going off to have a serious read of that thread and see what I can do with it.
EDIT - oh my word. Its SNR, and I completely forgot you've got to do the high odds thing. Luckily, I opened up the matcher and checked the profit before I joined. I'll still have a quick look, but I might have to just hope that they repeat the offer tomorrow.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
That was one of our main arguments for keeping Sky. We pay £18.50 a month and have Sky +..is a good deal, but in all honesty could live without it.
At least living where you do, gives a bit more on the weather front. Has been cold and damp here today.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Coo Bob, you have Sky plus for £18.50? Bargain .... I'm still wondering whether to do this, found Juventus as a good-enough qualifier, I'm just a bit ... nervous. I'm going to read through the Intro thread, and if the betfair money is still there and I haven't made some calamitous error, I'll do it.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
