Of course, it could be that certain people aren't getting up early enough to check online stuff before they go to work... ;):o

Know what you mean about the old fashioned styles, I like knitting but beyond scarves I've not seen much I'd actually want to wear!

Being able to pop down to the sea sounds lovely :)

Hi redsquirrel, if you like knitting you may want to join Ravelry, a friend of mine is on it and has got some really fun patterns for sweaters etc from people on there! (no affiliation yadda, yadda!)

I'm glad! There's use being made of it, and with my skin it was never going to happen!

  • All sounds very industrious, years since i have knitted properly..did a few squares for the thread on Oldstyle and then decided to donate them locally, but haven't knitted a cardi for years..i used to do allsorts when mine were little and could be found in the staffroom knitting at one point.

Ah! I knitted that jumper years ago.... the only thing I've knitted this year was handwarmers, while I was staying at my sister's place in France in March. And I crocheted two square centimetres on Sunday! Haven't practised since then tho.

Handwarmers? Ooh I could do with them at work... they haven't put the heating on yet and my poor typing fingers get cold!

Hope you have a good day today (look, I'm up early enough to post before work! :rotfl:) x

You are up early! I didn't get up till 7.30! And oh my word, they haven't put the heating on yet? You're going to have to take a break every so often to run around the block, aren't you? No wonder your health has been a bit sniffly. Have a good one anyway, squiaa xx

Nope - I have a feeling they wait till the clocks go back or something! It's 'Wear It Pink' day today for breast cancer charities, so have a big pink scarf on and it's not coming off! I do wander off quite often, usually pop outside to get away from the screen and clear my head, so it feels warmer when I get back in :D
