re L&G - I already had my life insurance with them but still got the ISA cashback.......and Pania didn't even take out the ISA and still got the cashback
So, L&G have no idea what they are doing :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I like the sound of the m&s glitches, will have a little check on that. L&G sound very like my kind of company.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Morning! Okay, well thats some good news on my thread, thanks guys. I have put a query in to Quidco tho, about the L&G thing, so I suppose I'd better wait. I'll be putting another one in soon if things don't change on my quidco listing - the M&S cashback for the books is showing at £0.00 - and I've actually spent £15, no matter how good the deal was.
Off mystery shopping in a nearby town today - I just have to alter one of them to the lunchtime period, not morning, I'm getting there as cheaply as possible, which means buses, which means a longer time.
I have a new system of marking what I have to do for the day. There's always going to be a list of follow ups, phone calls etc in the diary, but I'm going to have a list of topics to be done in any one week - so many periods of matched betting, so many periods of gardening, etc etc. I *think* it will help - I'm concerned about the m.b.ing in particular, its sort of getting left behind.
Right. Off to "work". I'll rephrase that. Off to work.
Have a good day, everyone!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Managed to zoom away... the m.s.s done but not inputted yet. L&G ISA query answered, I should get the cashback, have now enquired with Quidco about the £0.00 cashback on the M&S purchase - they've provisionally credited it, we'll see what happens when they enquire with M&S.
Some more good news: my October quidco cashback has finally arrived in my account, thats £73.03, I'll update the sig when I've transferred it to the right account. And I may use that money to pay off the mortgage - use it as a kind of offset, claim it back eventually if need be, hopefully just to do the rewire and replumb.
Off to play with the accounts now2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Note to self: never go shopping when hungry. Went into Sainsbury on the way back from mystery shop, I was just going to get tatties(2.5kg for £1.28) and the freebie Candia milk, but I also got 200g feta (that was good £1.19, 28p cheaper than my usual) but also cow's milk cheese @£1.59 and crumpets 29p. Bad bad KC - grocery total now up to £219.032023: the year I get to buy a car0

Got some phone calls to do, bits of adminny things, but the real dfw stuff I must do is re-starting my matched betting. October challenge is going well tho, cos of all the refunds from fuel and water, which I'm transferring as soon as they come in.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Tut tut!! I try and stick to delivery so not tempted..:o :rotfl:
.also find it worse if any other members of family come with me, they always bump up the costs by sneaking stuff in the trolley..OH is particularly bad for it as well...i daren't let him shop as he comes back with half of the list and loads of "bargains" which we are still using up because noone really wants them..sigh.:o
Great news about quidco, i tried clicking through for some freebies and managed to get a whole 25p from Lands End.:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
